Surprise Launch for the New New Calico: Neat Things DLC
The new expansion for beloved cat cafe game Calico was announced back in October, with no specific release date attached. Neat Things will introduce new quests, characters, mini-games, and cats to the game – and it’s available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam right now!
New Spray Paint Simulator Demo
For those who enjoy a good free demo, we’ve got great news – Spray Paint Simulator is getting a brand new demo that highlights its free play mode and more. The updated demo includes a new level for players to test out, expanding the preview of Career Mode along with adding Free Spray Mode.
The new Spray Paint Simulator demo will be available for PC via Steam starting on February 13. The full game will launch later this year.
New Character Reveals for Upcoming Game Kernel Hearts
Kernel Hearts is an upcoming magical girl anime-inspired roguelike hack n’ slash adventure that I, for one, can’t wait to check out. While the official release date still hasn’t been unveiled, we did get to meet two new characters during the Whitethorn Winter Showcase.
The more we see about this game, the more excited we get! Upon launch, Kernel Hearts will be available on PC via Steam and on Xbox Series X|S
Slime Heroes, Magical Delicacy, and Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island Are Coming to PS5
Okay, friends, I’m extra excited to get to share this news because two of these games are ones I personally worked on reviewing & guiding here at Bonus Action. For gamers with a PlayStation 5 as their primary console, three amazing Whitethorn titles will soon be available for your enjoyment!
Slime Heroes, Magical Delicacy, and Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island are all coming to PlayStation 5 (and PS4!) in 2025. These are also cozy gaming classics, whether you want to become a slime, cook up magical treats, or hang out with Greek gods on a remote island. We don’t have exact dates for this PlayStation ports just yet, but it’s happening this year, so get ready!
All in all, the Whitethorn Winter Showcase was full of exciting news for some of our favorite (and future favorite) indie games. So far, 2025 looks like a great year for gaming.
