Calico’s New, Neat Things DLC is Exactly What You Need For The Perfect Café

Nothing says “cozy gaming” quite like a cat cafe, and Calico is a beloved indie favorite in the cage management genre. This adorable life sim puts you in the position of rebuilding the local cat cafe, exploring the open world and hanging out with cute cats as you do.

If you’ve been wishing for something new to do, we’ve got good news. Recently, Whitethorn Games announced a new Neat Things DLC for Calico, bringing plenty of new content to spruce up your cafe – or give you an excuse to start a new save.

Calico’s Neat Things DLC Coming This Winter 2024

Publisher Whitethorn Games recently dropped the purrfect news via X. While we don’t yet have an exact release date, the Neat Things DLC for Calico is set to arrive “this winter.” I don’t know about you, but snuggling up in a cat cafe sounds like the perfect way to spend the inside months.

When it arrives, the DLC will bring a new Scavenger Hunt Quest and a brand new area called Mermaid’s Cove. And what’s a Mermaid’s Cove without an actual mermaid? The new NPC you’ll meet there makes sure you won’t have to find out.

In addition, the DLC brings new animal companions including a raccoon, axolotl, elephant, and a golden retriever. If your cat cafe is yearning to house other adorable animals, you won’t want to miss this!

Along with all that goodness, you’ll also get two new mini-games, more cafe decorations, and new interactions with the world around you.

The Calico DLC will launch for PC and Nintendo Switch, so get ready to snuggle up with your gaming platform of choice. No news yet on whether the DLC will make its way to Xbox or Playstation, though you can play the base game on these platforms.

Calico: Neat Things will cost $4.99 USD, and you’ll need to already have the base game to access it. The exact release date is yet to come, so stay tuned!
