Tavern Talk Developer Reveals Brand-New Game Set in the Same Cozy RPG Universe

It’s no secret that we love a cozy visual novel around here. And Tavern Talk is one of our favorites, bringing a Dungeons & Dragons style spin to the Coffee Talk-style story of serving drinks and watching customers’ lives unfold. Now, we’re excited to share that there is more Tavern Talk content on the way! And no, we’re not talking about DLC here.

Developer Gentle Troll Entertainment recently revealed a brand-new entry in the Tavern Talk cinematic universe. This new game will be a prologue of sorts, taking gamers back 36 years before the events of the first game. The new game from Gentle Troll Entertainment is fittingly called Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker. Let’s break down everything we know about this enticing new entry in the series!

Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker Is a Whole New Game in the Same Fantasy Universe

Gamers who want more from the Tavern Talk universe will be pleased to know that Gentle Troll’s new game takes us back. Like, way back, into the world before the events of the first game.

But, we’re getting the same fun drink-serving and quest-slinging mechanics that made the original Tavern Talk so great. To see what I mean, check out the reveal trailer for Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker below:

In this new visual novel, gamers will step into the shoes of the Tavernkeep at The Drowsy Dragon. Once again, we’ll mix drinks and serve them up to alter the fates of the adventurers who wander into our tavern. And then, we’ll send them out on quests to meet their fate… with the influence of our magical drinks, of course.

This new installment in the Tavern Talk universe features characters new and familiar… including the very innkeeper we portrayed in the first game. Learn what adventures took place for them before they settled into life behind the bar in a brand-new story. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for the chance to experience this one!

Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker doesn’t have a set release date just yet. However, you can go ahead and wishlist it on Steam to make sure you get all the updates!
