As you try to find all 16 Bunnies in Animal Wellto solve the BDPT puzzle, it may dawn on you how truly layered and intrinsically complex this game is.
The Bunnies aren’t stashed away in some top-secret room you’re not cool enough to enter yet. And no, there’s no epic Bunny showdown with a fifth flame as your prize. Sorry to burst your bubble. Instead, these critters are hanging out right under your nose. Maybe you haven’t looked hard enough. Or perhaps you did see them but couldn’t wrap your head around their out-of-the-box solution. Either way, here’s every Bunny location in Animal Well.
Head to the room with the Bunny Mural next to the Room of the Altars. Here, use the Remote to reveal the Control Panel to draw on the Bunny Mural.
As you stand next to the Control Panel, use the Top to dig and uncover a secret room below.
What you se at the bottom is one piece of the puzzle, you need 49 more pieces from other players.
Or, you could also just skip that whole process.
You see, a group of fifty people form the gaming community already came together to solve this puzzle; the solution is already available thanks to their efforts.
Use the Control Panel below the Bunny Mural to match my picture.
Follow the door on the right to find your first Bunny in Animal Well.
Starting Area Bunny in Animal Well

Though this Bunny can be spotted from the area to the left of where you first spawned, you can only reach it from inside the Fish Room. Here’s how to get the Starting Area Bunny in Animal Well:

Instructions
In the room with the Flamingos, head all the way to the right using your Bubbles Wand.
In this room, use your Bubbles Wand to navigate the area. There’s no floor, so just do your best to jump constantly to reach the next area to the right.
In the next room, you find the Starting Area Bunny.
Vines Bunny in Animal Well

I’ve also seen people call this “The Force” Bunny. The reason is it requires you to use the mouse or the controller touchpad to manipulate the environment, your tiny blob’s own version of Star Wars‘ The Force.

Instructions
In the location above, move the Vines above the Chinchilla to reveal a set of arrows. These are notes for your Animal Flute.
Head to the room on the right and play the following notes on your Animal Flute: 🢂🢅🢂🢃🢂🢇🢇🢂
This teleports you to a small chamber with the Vines Bunny in Animal Well.
Connect-the-Dots Bunny in Animal Well

To find the Connect-the-Dots Bunny, you must find all the numbered pillars on Animal Well, mark them using the stamps, and then collect the dots using the Pencil to get the code 67234353.
Whip out your Animal Flute and play these notes: 🢄🢁🢆🢃🢇🢃🢀🢃. As you’re teleported to this new chamber, follow the tunnel on the right to find the next secret bunny in Animal Well.
UV Bunny in Animal Well

If you use the UV Light in the Room of the Altars, a hidden Bunny will reveal itself. In my experience, this guy doesn’t always appear, but after exiting and reentering this room a few times, you can catch him.

Instructions
In the location above, turn on the UV light to reveal arrows in the room. The fish is actually a decoy; these are notes for your Animal Flute.
Play this tune on your Animal Flute: 🢀🢀🢆🢂🢅🢀🢀🢅.
Enter the trap door on the far right of this room. Inside, you can find the Fish Bunny in Animal Well.
Ghost Bunny in Animal Well

Instructions
Head to the location on the map above, and exit the room through the left passage.
In this room, you can find a set of faces that, if you’re the attentive sort, oddly remind you of a face-shifting ghost you ran into early on.
Back in the tutorial area, wait for the ghost to appear and do a clockwise note circle starting from 🢄. This turns the ghost into a Bunny in Animal Well.
Crow Bunny in Animal Well

Instructions
Walk into the room with eight Crows forming a square shape.
As the Crows caw, imitate their order with your Animal Flute.
Eventually, a secret room reveals itself on the upper left corner of this room.
Duck Bunny in Animal Well

Instructions
First of all, above the Chinchilla, do you see a Duck or a Bunny?
To find the Duck Bunny, look at the faces on the right. These, as you found out with the face-shifting ghost, stand for notes.
That said, the Duck’s not here. He’s still in that room next to the Room of the Altars. Play these notes on your Animal Flute: 🢁🢃🢁🢃🢀🢂🢀🢂.
The Duck you quacked at so many times was, in fact, a Bunny in Animal Well.
Dream Bunny in Animal Well

You’ve probably noticed, maybe when you minimize Animal Well to take a look at a guide and then come back, that your tiny brown blob goes to sleep when idle, and a few ZZZs form on its head. If you stay idle for even longer, you literally dream up a Bunny.
Bud Mural Bunny in Animal Well

Instructions
Head to the location above and look at the mural below the tiny blob with a Lantern. It’s got a bunny next to four buds.
These bud icons represent your save files. Every time you start a game, your tiny blob emerges from a set of three differently shaped buds. The moment you emerge, each bud makes a different set of sounds. You should play each bud sound set in the order shown in the mural with the Animal Flute.
Here’s what you should play to get the Bud Mural Bunny: 🢂🢃🢀🢁🢂🢃🢄🢅🢂🢃🢀🢁🢆🢇🢄🢅. Head to the left to find the secret Bunny.
The Floor is Lava Bunny in Animal Well
Screenshot by Bonus Action
To get this bunny, follow these steps using a combination of the Bubbles Wand, the Disc, and the Remote, all the while avoiding the floor. Think of it like The Floor is Lava. The switch floors are safe.
Visual Reference
Instructions
Starting from the location above, use the Bubbles Wand to drop down safely and, before you fall under the middle passage to the right, throw the Disc. Ride it to reach the area on the right.
Get off the Disc to fall off the hole in the left. Again, switch floors are safe.
Jump and use the Remote to activate the switch floor above you. Then, throw the Disc and stand on it.
As you make your way to the right, use the Remote again to reach the switch floor above you.
Ride your bubbles to the right and use the Remote to remove the switch walls. Repeat this process until you reach the room with the two dog statues and the yellow phone.
Exit this room through the waterfall in the center. Just drop down.
As you respawn, head up the ladder on the right and then to the left to find a red switch. In the bottom left corner, you can find The Floor is Lava Bunny in Animal Well.
TV Bunny in Animal Well

If you sit on the couch at home and use the Remote on the TV, ghost faces begin to appear. These correspond with the ghost faces you saw earlier. Play this tune to find the TV Bunny in Animal Well: 🢅🢄🢇🢆🢁🢀🢃🢂.

Instructions
At the end of the Dog Room where you left the Disc, pull out the Disc one more time.
Run to the right and head inside the bear’s mouth to enter the jungle teleporter. Once you’re outside, fall down to the left.
On the top right corner of this room, there’s a dog statue with bunny ears, which looks kind of suspicious.
The moment the Ghost Cat touches the fake dog statue, it ditches the disguise and reveals itself as the Dog Bunny in Animal Well.
Spikes Bunny in Animal Well

Head to the location above with an improved Bubbles Wand and follow these steps:

Instructions
From the room with the telephone, use your Bubbles Wand to throw bubbles and exit through the left.
At the very top of this area with the Swordfish, there’s a hidden passage behind the vines.
To get through the area with spikes, throw the Disc and jump forward to ride it. This skill takes a bit of practice, but you’ve got it.
Once you get to the exit on the other side, you find the Spikes Bunny in Animal Well.

When you unlock the Animal Flute, you see a bunch of numbers around you. These numbers correspond with the different notes. But if you turn on the UV light while standing in this room, you see three green bars in the four, two, and one notes.
If you’ve unlocked all 64 eggs in the game, use the UV Lens in the Egg Room to see the same type of bars. This is a long one, but these are the notes you need to play to get the Bunny in the Egg Room: 🢄🢃🢂🢃🢄🢃🢂🢃🢄🢇🢆🢇🢄🢇🢆🢇🢅🢀🢃🢀🢅🢀🢃🢀🢁🢀🢆🢀🢁🢀🢆🢀🢄🢃🢂🢃🢄🢃🢂🢃🢄🢇🢆🢇🢄🢇🢆🢇🢄🢅.
Enter the room on the upper right of the room to find the Office Key. Use this office key in the upstairs room of your house. Inside, you can find a computer and a chalkboard.
Stand near the chalkboard on the left and turn on your Lantern to see the BDTP puzzle in Animal Well. If you use the UV Light, you can see even more information, apparently related to Bunnies.
If you’ve got a printed attached or wirelessly connected to your computer, you can print an Origami Bunny and fold it to reveal the right sequence to play and find the Origami Bunny in Animal Well.
But if you don’t own a printer at home, you can also scan the grass in this room with your phone. It’s a code that reveals the same tune and gives you the Mama Cha Figurine and the Origami Bunny all at once.
If you don’t feel like doing any of that, just play this tune in your house 🢂🢅🢁🢀🢄🢁🢀🢃 and a black Origami Bunny will appear.
How to solve the BDPT puzzle in Animal Well
Screenshot by Bonus Action
To solve the BDTP puzzle, you need to have access to the Office room in your house, find all 64 Eggs, acquireall the tools, and find all 16 Bunnies. Once that’s out of the way, follow these steps:
Visual Reference
Instructions
Head to this location to start.
Exit this room through the upper left passage. Use the Bubbles Wand to reach the platform on the very top.
As you stand on middle left platform of this room, throw the Top to the left to reveal a secret exit.
In the center of this room, place the 65th Egg you got as a reward for collecting all eggs. Then, be ready to run to the left until you spot a wall of glass.
Lure the second Ghost Boss to shoot lasers at the glass behind you to reveal a secret room.
Below, use the Wheel to get the Ghost block out of sight.
Head back to the room where you placed the 65th Egg. Lure the second Ghost Boss to destroy the glass on the left.
With the Remote, you can move the first two switch walls. Then, with the Bouncy Ball, destroy the rectangle-shaped blocks on the left.
Open the Ghost Boss’ mouth with the Animal Flute, and jump in.
Keep flying up as the credits roll (again) to find the Bunny Hallway.
If you don’t care for the reasoning behind the BDTP puzzle in Animal Well, skip the written part and carry on with the table below.
There are two main takeaways from the BDTP chalkboard:
Dir doesn’t stand for directory, it stands for Direction.
The Directions are encoded in the Bunny ears, but they serve two purposes:
Combined Binary indicating where each Bunny is in the Index of Bunnies.
Instructions pointing to the directions you should fly to once you get to the red flag at the end of this Bunny hallway.
Visual Reference
Instructions
Once you’re done with these Bunny Ears, reach the flag to the right and mount the Manticore.
Follow these directions, exiting the screen each time: 🢁🢀 🢁🢀🢁🢂🢁🢁🢀🢃🢀🢁🢁🢁🢂🢂🢃🢂🢁🢁🢁🢀🢃🢀🢁🢂🢂🢂🢁🢀.
Welcome to the Bunny Temple. It’s been hiding up here all along. Head all the way to the left to find a large Bunny. Don’t panic, just follow his digestive system.
Your blue eyes aren’t just for show, my fellow tiny blob. Jump off the cliff on the left to evolve.
Congrats! After a lot of hard work, you’ve found every Bunny in Animal Well and completed their puzzle. There are just a few more steps to take before you can see the true ending, but while we work on that guide, enjoy your new flying powers.
