My introduction to Lepro was bumpy. Unboxing the TB1 Table Lamp and the O1 Floor Lamps, I was met with sleek, easy-to-assemble designs that fit most modern living spaces. However, I was leery of the big promise on the box. After all, AI is the current hot word, and I haven’t seen many pieces of home technology utilize the features in a way that makes sense or is pratical.
The Lepro lights promise a lot out of the box. Smart home tech, color-changing settings, illumination settings, app control, and something called Music Synch. Initially, it was the music sync that had my curiosity piqued. I was sold on the concept of turning my living room into a sleek combination of beautiful lighting and premium sound from my Sony soundbar.
However, it would be the app controls that would steal my heart and completely sell me on these lamps. So much so that my partner and I plan to add three more to our new home requirements after moving this past month.

Beautiful Builds For Every Space

The first thing I want to tackle is the build for these lamps. The TB1 Smart Table Lamp has a unique look, with LED built into swiveling circles. The silver accents the RGB beautifully, allowing it to fit into any office, bedroom, or family room unobtrusively. While I was nervous about the plastic material the lamp is made from, the build is light and durable, which is perfect for homes with younger children.
The Lepro O1 Floor Lamp stands at about four feet tall, with an LED tube atop a silver pole. The design is just as sleek as the Table Lamp, with a minimal footprint. I love this design. It fits well in any room, and lets the RGB of the light act as the standout feature. It’s simple in the best ways.
Both lights took less than fifteen minutes to assemble, and have moved from Idaho to Washington with no issues at all.
A Less Than Amazing Music Sync Feature
To address the elephant in the room early, I think it’s important to note that the “music sync” feature for these lamps is not amazing. This feature is achieved via an input microphone on each unit. This microphone picks up on sounds in the room, and the music “responds” to these inputs by changing color.
There are so many products that offer a similar feature but with better accuracy, including the Razer Leviathan V2 Speakers. If you have a child, have the TV on, or are cooking, any hope of music sync goes out the window as the mic will pick up on every little thump. This initial realization soured my first impressions of the lamps.
Thankfully, the true brilliance of each option came through a few days after we had started using them.
Lepro Stole My Heart With Its App Controls
I have been using the Lepro Table and Floor lamps for about a month and a half. Initially, I’d planned to put the Table Lamp in my office to test the app and the sound sync. However, the same day we received the lamps, my four-year-old son’s night light lamp gave up the ghost.
In a panic, I snatched the lamp from my office, plugged it into his room, and used the app to toggle the gradient RGB setting to low luminosity. He was delighted – so much so that the lamp is still in his room as his primary nightlight.
The best bit about this lamp? We can do “magic” every night when setting the colors. I step out of the room to go “go get his water bottle”, and my partner takes him through a series of claps. From the hallway, on queue, I can use the app to turn the lamp on just as if his own superpowers had done it. It’s fun, adds some whimsy to our nighttime routine, and makes him happy. I can’t ask for anything more from a nightlight.
Meanwhile, the Lepro Floor Lamp has taken up residency as one of my most important pieces of bedroom furniture. I never use the RGB settings on this one. Instead, I’ve been obsessed with the ordinary lamp setting that allows me to warm or cool the light however I like. I can also control the luminosity, making it perfect for bedtime reading or brightly lighting up the space while folding laundry. I can also turn it off from the app in bed. No getting up. No cold toes on the floor. I just hit a button, throw my phone on the charger, and call it a night.
The Lepro Floor Lamp also saved our cats while we were on vacation before the big move. Most of our general lighting had been packed up, but I couldn’t bear to part with my Lepro Floor Lamp.
I was able to turn the light on in my bedroom in Idaho from a coastal beach town in Oregon. This ensured our elderly cats were able to safely walk through the house without a problem.
That lamp was one of the last things we packed before moving. It was lovingly wrapped in blankets and transported with our most treasured possessions in the car to the new house.
Final Score – 9/10
I have every intention of purchasing two more Floor Lamps as well as several other lighting options from Lepro within the next few weeks. I can’t recommend these lights enough for your personal spaces. If you ignore the AI home tech and music sync and look at the lights from a utility angle, the ability to control them from any location is the true selling point. These are a parent’s dream, a reader’s best friend, and a weary person’s reprieve.
It won’t matter where you put them; they look stunning and are so wonderfully practical. Lepro nailed it, and I can’t wait for more options to light up my house.
