Last week, we shared that the upcoming visual novel/shopping sim hybrid Merchants of Rosewall had a demo on the way. Now, Big Blue Sky Games has officially shared not only the brand-new demo, but also an exciting new launch trailer showing off what gamers can expect to see when they jump in.
Merchants of Rosewall combines shopkeeping, crafting, and visual novel elements to create an engaging, narrative-driven experience. Not only that, but it’s set in a lush fantasy world full of color NPCs. Frankly, it sounds just like the kind of thing the Bonus Action team loves. If it sounds up your alley, too, the Merchants of Rosewall demo is available now on Steam, offering a free chance to check out the game. Better yet, there’s not long to wait for the full story, with the game set to arrive on March 4, 2025!

The trailer shows off the game’s beautiful art, including a view of the town of Rosewall itself. We also get a look at core gameplay mechanics including the crafting and shopkeeping elements, trading, and cooking. There’s also a nice spotlight on the different employees you can hire and level up as you grow your business.
Several of the vendors of Rosewall also show up in the trailer, giving us a first look at the people we’ll get to know as we grow our business in Rosewall.
