Visiting the local shop to offload loot and stock up on goods is a staple of any RPG. We all love a game that lets us be the adventurer, but sometimes, you just want to kick back and step into a support role. That’s where fantasy shopkeeping sim Merchants of Rosewall comes in, providing a blend of compelling visual novel style with shop management mechanics.
Merchants of Rosewall puts players in the role of shopkeep, crafting and sourcing materials to trade with local orcs, giants, and elves. The art and general vibes give off a Legends & Lattes feel, which we at Bonus Action are very much here for. We’re very excited to share that Merchants of Rosewall now has an official launch date – and it’s soon!
Merchants of Rosewall Arrives March 4th, But You Can Play the Demo Next Week
Mercants of Rosewell is the debut title from indie dev & publisher Big Blue Sky Games. It combines shopkeeping simulation with a visual novel, where your choices will shape the story. You’ll be crafting, cooking, and trading with a colorful cast of NPCs. The gameplay is split into phases, with time to prep, run the shop, and choose how to spend your off hours. Time management gaming at its finest, as far as we can tell.

Ahead of Steam Next Fest, which runs from February 24 – March 3, Merchants of Rosewell has confirmed they’re releasing a brand new demo! The hands-on first look at the game will arrive on February 24, giving players a chance to test out this game before launch. Shortly after Steam Next Fest ends, Merchants of Rosewall launches on March 6th!
Merchants of Rosewall will be available via Steam, and you can wishlist it now to get a reminder when the game comes out in a few weeks. And be sure to check out that Steam Next Fest demo!
