The Wholesome Kitchen Event kicked off on Steam on April 24th and will run through May 9th. That gives cooking game fans a few weeks to check out the list of featured games. Whether you’re adding them to your wishlist or taking advantage of good deals, there’s plenty to offer in this buffet of food-centric games.
Featured games are broken down into subcategories to help you browse, with discounted titles listed right at the top. If you’re looking for a few recommendations, the wonderful Japanese-inspired restaurant Sim Kokoro Kitchen is currently a whopping 50% off. Chaotic coffee serving sim Coffee Caravan is also marked down by 30%, and story-driven witchy platformer Magical Delicacy is 50% off. This event is indeed a great place to snag a few exciting cooking games on sale. But it’s also a great way to find a few upcoming games for your wishlist.
Each category, from Kitchen Chaos to Food Idlers and everything in between, lists quite a few upcoming games to keep an eye on. If you’re a ramen fan, there’s no shortage of ramen shop simulators headed out in the near future. Prefer a roguelite cooking-light experience? Kinny and the Cosmic Cauldron, which arrives on June 6th, puts a roguelite card-battle twist on potion-brewing. Already released Omelet You Cook also has a roguelite feel to it, as you try to satisfy tricky customer orders. There’s even a puzzle game called Cheese Party, which honestly, enough said.
You’ve got until May 9th to browse the full menu and fill up your wishlist with exciting cooking-adjacent games. If you’re lucky, you’ll find a new favorite… or a full course meal of them.
