Magical Delicacy's Free PC Update Makes It Easier to Whip Up Delicious Dishes

Good news, Gratlings – finding your favorite ingredients and whipping up magical meals in Magical Delicacy just got a little bit easier. This delightful indie game combines cooking and platforming for a uniquely engaging gameplay experience. It can also be occasionally frustrating if you can’t remember where you found that one ingredient.

The game’s developer, sKaule, released a free update for PC players that will solve many of the minor snags that might frustrate players. With new map features, easier menu navigation, and more ways to pass time, these quality of life updates are sure to enchant Magical Delicacy fans.

Magical Delicacy Just Made it Easier to Find & Use Ingredients

This latest free update to Magical Delicacy is focused on fixes and quality of life improvements that will make the game more enjoyable for new and returning players.

Key improvements include new map markers to help you track the locations of characters with open orders and ingredients you’ve previously discovered. That means less endless wandering trying to remember where you last found the Princess or that Snailnut plant.

Oh, and once you have those ingredients? You can now access the storage unit menus while cooking. No more running up and down the stairs trying to find the right ingredients for a dish! You can also more easily filter ingredients to find the ones you’re looking for, such as a specific rarity level or whether you can dehydrate it or not.

In addition, this update adds more in-depth tutorials for players beginning the game – plus the ability to revisit tutorials right from the Grimoire! Perfect if this update makes you want to jump back in after a break and you need some refreshers on mechanics.

Speaking of mechanics, there’s now a new way to pass time in the game. You know all those benches with beautiful views around town? If you’re trying to pass time so you can harvest that night ingredient, you can now do so right from a bench rather than heading home to bed. The free update includes a new Pocket Watch tool that lets you skip time on one of these benches around Grat.

Players should be able to update their game via Steam to enjoy these new improvements and fixes. For those playing Magical Delicacy on other platforms, no word yet on when the update might be available on Nintendo Switch.
