For anyone wanting their dryer to sound like Astarion for BG3, you are in luck. Drysdale, voiced by Neil Newbon, takes drying clothes to a new level in Date Everything. However, his romance requires more than a bit of smooth talking.
Drysdale’s storyline is linked with Washford, the washer. This pair of acrobats has a story as tender and mature as the grey in their hair. It’s tragic, flawed, and beautiful – but what’s an otome without a bit of home wrecking? Below is everything you need to know to get a fairytale ending with your dryer in Date Everything.

How to Get the Love Ending with Drysdale

We do recommend speaking with Washford before getting involved with Drysdale.
First Encounter
- You may be excited?
- I’m excited to meet you, too!
- Damn, your modesty is… impressive.
- Um… of your form?
- The Temple of Tone? Devotee, right here.
- How do you work out exactly?
- You must be creative, too.
- Using only what’s here in the laundry room?
- Build a workout together? That sounds awesome!
- Obliques! We’ll start there.
- Who is Florence (to add to your Roomers)
- Tydus? What’s that (to add to your Roomers)
- How about a hanging knee raise instead?
- Uh oh, why?
- The door frame?
- Right. Good thinking. How about burpees?
- Like who?
- Wait, like on the phone?
- ‘Washford!!”
- …
Second Encounter
- Can I ride inside you for a bit?
- Like me? I’m new, right?
- Well, let’s get you some points too!
- By here… you mean in the laundry room?
- That was a lot of information.
- You’re right, I’ll ask!
- Bleu cheese olives – yea or nay?
- Ok, on we go then, how do you make a cake rise without yeast?
- Feel like there’s something I’m missing…?
- It’s a lil’ double entendre that you did right there.
- Just as teensy as your love for Washford?
- But you continue to call him?
- Has Washford been with you the whole time you’ve been in here?
- That’s a long time, Drysdale.
- And how long has it been since you’ve broke up?
- How long since you’ve talked to him?
- What’s inconvenient? You’re in love.
- What can I do?
- I can try. I can’t make any promises, though.
Third Encounter
- I just came from talking to Washford.
- Well, he was a little mopey.
- What happened between you two?
- You don’t have to cry or anything. We can just chat.
- Washy?
- Yes! I saw him do that!
- His lips are gorgeous. Given.
- Yes, I remember him… scrawny, kinda sexy.
- The hot boy made you hotter?
- What did you do?
- You didn’t ask Washford, did you.
- What do you mean, refused?
- I can’t believe you did all this without asking Washford.
- I’m sure Washford has had some good ideas, too.
- He came up with the Pale Betrayal, that’s pretty cool.
- I think it’s creative. The result of your betrayal was a pale mold.
- But if you knew he was sensitive, why did you flirt with Dirk?
- But you knew how sensitive Washford was to your actions.
- And you loved Washford.
- Nicer than Washford?
- Sure. We’ll go with that.
- It’s time for you and Washford to have a conversation with each other.
- You don’t have to be mysterious, Drysdale. You just have to be honest.
- He told me. He asked me to come and talk to you.
- What’s wrong?
- Washford!
- Washford!
Fourth Encounter
- Yep.
- Uh, yes. Shock.
- Excellent skill, right there.
- Lol. I’d love that. Let’s do it!
