Creativity is the name of the game in Pokopia, and one player has taken building projects to new heights with a hyper-accurate rebuild of Vermillion City on Bleak Beach.
Pokopia has already shown its colors as the Animal Crossing: New Horizons sister game that dedicated builders were hoping for. Players have built incredible structures using Magnetic Rise, from sprawling towns to mind-boggling castles.
One player has decided to take a classic approach. They have rebuilt Vermillion City using a special resource that has ensured the highest level of accuracy and detail in their restoration project.
Pokopia Player’s Vermillion City Makeover Stuns Fans
In a social media post shared by Rui59Rui59, the player has showcased a rebuild of Vermillion City in Pokopia. Streets are lined with rebuilt homes, the roads have been remade and edged with brick. However, the secret to their accuracy shows their dedication to the project.
In the post, the player showcases their work with a short video that compares their Pokopia version of Vermillion City above a tour of Let’s Go, Eevee‘s version of the same city. Using the older game as a reference, the builder was able to match their own buildings, streets, and designs to what Vermillion City would have looked like before the catastrophes of Pokopia‘s timeline.
The build itself is incredible, but it also sheds light on how carefully the world of Pokopia was crafted. The vast majority of blocks and furniture closely resemble what would have been in the original towns, down to the patterns in the brickwork and the colors of the wall blocks.
Fans in the comments have applauded the build, stunned by the accuracy and magnitude of the project. One player has stated, “Amazing accuracy!” while others have commented on specific changes like the option to change the orientation of the Pokémon Center after it has been rebuilt.
With Pokopia players hitting the endgame and spending more time on building projects, it is likely that a wide variety of spectacular builds will continue to be shared with the community. This particular build proves that using older games as a guide can help produce an accurate and awe-inspiring final result.
