The Pokémon Company has announced a new apparel collaboration just in time for warmer weather, and this time it isn’t adult shoes or jackets. In a crossover with Bonpoint, Pokémon baby clothes are now on the market – and they are adorable but very expensive.
Luxury Pokémon Baby Clothes by Bonpoint Style Up Onesies
As broadcasted in a social media post on the official Pokémon Twitter/X account, the collaboration with Bonpoint will offer a select number of infant and children’s apparel with unique, adorable designs of a round-faced Pikachu. Fans can find the collaboration pieces on the Pokémon Center or Bonpoint websites.
Unfortunately, the Monpoké Pokémon baby clothes won’t be for everyone. The prices listed on the Pokémon Center range from $95 for a single t-shirt to $180 for the Pikachu bodysuit and are even more expensive on the Bonpoint website, which offers denim jackets and hoodies for over $400. For many young parents, these cute collector pieces likely won’t be something they can invest in – especially for young children who outgrow clothing quickly.
For those looking for something that will last a bit longer and be less of an investment, this collaboration also features three board books following the bobblehead Pikachu’s adventures. Pikachu’s First Friends, Pokémon Playtime, and Pikachu Loves range from $8.99 to $17.99.
The Pokémon baby clothes in the Monpoké collection with Bonpoint are already limited in availability, with the largest sizes already sold out on the Pokémon Center website. For fans of the Pokémon franchise looking to give these as gifts, or to hold onto for their own little ones, it will be good to act fast.
Additionally, adding one of the many adorable Pokémon plushies also available in the Pokémon Center store isn’t a bad idea. These soft, squishy partners will grow with children even if they eventually leave the Monpoké onesies behind for new adventures.
The Pokémon baby clothes collection by Bonpoint is available now while supplies last. They are not available in standard retail stores and must be purchased via Bonpoint or The Pokémon Center.
