Adorable cozy game Garden Witch Life had a few bumps in the road at launch. However, the developer team has been hard at work with the game’s first major patch.
Taking into account player feedback and unexpected bugs, Freetime Studio has made some serious improvements to the game in the 1.0.19 patch. The fixes are live for Steam as of September 25, with the bigger console patch coming soon, according to Freetime Studios.

Garden Witch Life Patch Note Highlights for Version 1.0.19
There’s truly a ton to cover with this patch, which addresses player issues big and small. First up, let’s dive into the biggest changes.

- The Fatigue mechanic has been fully removed for now. Players will no longer pass out when hitting a full fatigue bar, letting us explore freely.
- The Progress Reset glitch when going to bed with full Fatigue has also been fixed! No more re-meeting every NPC.
- Major adjustments to earning money & item prices to make early gameplay less of a grind
- Fixed a bug where the Manoir won’t open. I genuinely thought I just hadn’t gotten there yet and was super confused, so I am very excited to see this new element of the game in action!
These three things alone will make a huge difference in the gameplay experience. Players can progress more quickly early on without fear of fainting or struggling to earn enough coins to upgrade tools.
Bug Fixes & Small Adjustments in Garden Witch Life Patch 1.0.19
But wait, there’s more! The full patch notes highlight a number of smaller improvements and bug fixes, as well. Here are a few of the ones that stuck out most to me as someone who’s been playing the game for weeks now.
- Animal house recipes unlock at lower friendship levels with Lily
- Onions have a longer growing season
- Brambles won’t immediately decimate your health anymore when trying to explore the Fairy Forest
- Mint and Lavender plants will now be able to be harvested more than once, even if you harvest the leaves
- All animals have more options for what they’ll eat. This includes chickens now eating oats.
- Recipes that use the whisk now correctly say they use the whisk
- Your bees will produce honey every day instead of randomly not making honey sometimes
Although there are still some quirks to the game that will need to be addressed in future patches, this is a huge step forward in terms of overall playability for Garden Witch Life.

I, for one, was very excited to finally be able to ask Rud the Magnificent IV about the Manoir and, hopefully, see what it’s all about soon!

How should I delete the save game if it doesn’t say how exactly to delete the Word in the game Garden witch life. In Nintendo switch lite
Hi! Thanks for your question. If you’re having issues deleting saved games on Switch, it is probably because of an error in the most recent Nintendo Switch update. The developer noted that the button to delete saves is missing right now, sadly. 🙁
Their suggestion for players who can’t save their game because of this issue is to “completely delete all save data from the storage management option by press the plus button from the main console screen.”
If you don’t want to do that, you can also wait for the next patch to fix the issue which will hopefully let you delete your save file to make space without needing to clear all of your progress.
