Whisper of the House isn’t going to hand you progress on a silver platter, and honestly, that’s part of the fun.

You’ll be helping quirky townsfolk unpack, decorate, and dig up secrets tucked behind every dusty corner. Of course, sometimes the game’s subtle hints feel more like whispers than guidance. That’s where this walkthrough comes in.

Here, you’ll find clear steps for completing every request, solving each puzzle without stress, and uncovering every last museum collectible.

This guide is a work in progress. We’ll update it with more tasks and museum collectibles as we find them.

Luna’s Request #1

Whisper of the House first request

For Luna’s first request, just place the items Bot hands you in the bathroom, hallway, living room, and bedroom. If you get lost, feel free to copy my room setups.

Luna’s secret room location

Her “secret” is actually a gross hidden room in her bedroom. Move Mona Lisa’s painting, then spam-click the crevice behind it. Voilà, a room full of filth. Grab the mouse-trap and take it to the bathroom. That’s all it takes to win her gratitude.

Cheryl’s Request #1

Cheryl’s first request is basically a bakery clean-up montage. Arrange items across the Bakery Room, Bedroom, and Bathroom. Again, peek at my layout if you want.

Secret: Her bathroom mirror isn’t just dirty, it’s a Cursed Mirror. And if you click her bedroom’s crystal ball enough times, it reveals a little surprise.

Cheryl’s Request #2

This one’s trickier. You’ll need to:

  • Erase spilled poison
  • Clean broken reagent bottles
  • Place books on the right-side bookshelf (they’re hidden under the table, near the window shelves, and by the chimney).

In the next room, sort ornaments into the left wall cabinet like so:

  • Vases > bottom shelf
  • Flasks > bottom middle
  • Crystal bars & incense > top middle
  • Books > top shelf
Scripts go in the box to the right (reset them with right-click. Yes, it’s finicky).

In the Herbs Lab:

  • Store labeled potions in the right wall cabinet
  • Put glass jar plants in the cabinet by the window.

Alchemy Puzzle

Journal + page locations

To undust the mirror, you’ll need to brew a potion. Here’s the breakdown:

  1. Find the brown journal near the mirror (you may have moved it).
  2. Track down its missing pages:
    • Under the stairs to the cauldron
    • Next to the big book on the window shelf
    • Near the mirror’s original journal spot
  3. The journal shows three recipes. Only the third matters, but hey, let’s play witch.

Luna’s Request #2

To complete Luna’s second request, help Luna’s friend settle, particularly in the bathroom and the bedroom. Here’s how my rooms ended up looking:

Musem secrets

The museum collectibles you can find during this second request are Melody’s bed and the rubber duck.

Jane’s Music Store request

To complete this request, place the items exactly as requested by Jane.

Whisper of the House requests

Company’s Test

To complete this request, pull out a few items from Mark’s box. Then, you’ll need to use your own storage items to finish decorating this area.

Fishie’s Request #1

To complete Fishie’s request, you must first tidy up the place by scrubbing the floors and walls. Here’s how mine ended up looking:

Whisper of the House requests

Fishie’s secret

You can start to uncover Fishie’s secret during his first request. Remove the shelves on the right side of the house and enter the basement to uncover some odd creatures and a basement.

You can also interact with the drawing board in the bedroom to see more of his relationship with these creatures.

Mira’s Bar

To complete this request, you’ve got to clean up the disposable bottles, cans, and trash. Throw it all in the bin.

Then, begin to place Mark’s new furniture items wherever you like, but pay special mind to the objects that need to be in the bar lobby.

Convenience Store Request #1

This request is all about stocking products on the shelves. You need to place all the cans, bottles, and packs on the shelves. Keep in mind that mark will give you some extra shelves as you begin to unpack the box, so don’t get too stressed over the available space at the start of the request.

Also, you can unlock some extra storage by clicking the orange fridge next to the door.

Fishie’s Request #2

To complete Fishie’s second request, you’ll need to help him move back in.

Essentially, just place all of his furniture in the empty space.

Fishie’s Secret

You can wrap up Fishie’s secret during his second request. Grab the green light on the second floor, use the tub to access the basement, and plce the green light on the lantern on the left side of the room.

Mall Request

This is not necessarily a request, but a puzzle. When you enter the mall, you’ll be asked to find five kittens. Here’s where you’ll find each of them:

  • Behind one of the towels on the top left floor.
  • On top of the right plate the purple cat decoration is holding.
  • On the red t-shirt screen at the back of the mall.
  • Behind the tiled pool near the entrance.
  • Next to a microwave in the electronics store.

Einsmart Request

To complete this request, you’ll first have to find Einsmart. Look for a red lever in the front yard, and enter the

Underground Lab.

You’ll have to help grandpa. Start by cleaning up the floor and then move on to arranging the items in the most suitable place. Here’s how the house ended up looking for me:

Whisper of the House requests

The secret museum items here are the time capsule and the tree seed, which you can plant to find fully grown when you go back to the future.

All 42 Museum Secrets

Both throughout the city and during your requests, you’ll find a series of objects emitting a weird, purple aura. If you click them viciously, you’ll begin to collect items at the museum.
