Neva Walkthrough: All Puzzles, Hidden Flowers, and Achievements

Neva is determined to hit you with emotional gut punches while you’re busy soaking in the scenery. But don’t think you’ll escape unscathed – puzzles, collectibles, and combat challenges will still be waiting for you along the way.

If you find yourself in a stunningly minimalistic screen and want to push the story forward – or if you’re replaying chapters to collect all the hidden flowers – here’s a handy guide to help you along the way.

Chapter 1: Summer

	Head to the right and call Neva when she gets distracted.
	When it’s time to jump across the huge gap, you can either help her up or let her fall. She’ll get it right the next time.
	When you reach the area with the tall platform, guide Neva by climbing the shorter platforms on the left and calling her to follow.
	Here, you’ll need to call Neva to encourage her to jump, and then help her up.
	When you reach the darker area, use your sword to cut down the tree and clear the path forward.
	Next, you’ll need to do the same from the tree’s right side. Climb the platforms (the trees also have platforms) until you reach the right side, then slice the decaying tree.

	When Neva is grabbed by the hands, destroy the ones on the bottom row, then climb up to where she’s standing to rescue her.
	Here, dodge the black line and climb the platforms to reach the hands. Hit them once to clear the way for Neva to pass through.
	When Neva gets stuck again, jump and strike the hands with your sword to free her.
	When night falls, head to the right. Be sure to defeat the masked enemies to clear the thorns blocking your path.
	When you reach a cliff, jump and drive your sword into the ground to clear the path ahead.
	After a brief combat section, search for Neva beneath the tree roots. Don’t forget to show her some affection.

	To defeat this masked enemy and free Neva, head right, climb the platforms, and while in mid-air, aim downward and strike your sword at the mask.
	Then, head left to find another group of masked enemies. Begin by taking out the one on the lower left.
	Next, strike the enemy on the upper left, making sure to dodge the thorn that’s in between you.
	Next, jump over the thorns on the lower right to take down that masked enemy.
	Finally, stand on the tallest platform and jump to defeat the remaining enemy in the center of the room.
	To climb back up, you’ll need to jump from left to right and then from right to left while avoiding the thorn in the center.

	To solve the Totem puzzle in Chapter 1, strike the central plate once to swap the platforms. Then, climb the platforms and defeat the masked enemy on the right to clear your path.
	Then, hit the plate again, and you’ll be able to head out.
	After you defeat the large masked enemy with Neva’s assistance, Chapter 1 comes to an end.

Flower #	Flower appearance	Location
1		You can find the first flower in the area that’s blocked off by a branch. Climb the platforms past the trees to spot the first hidden flower.

2		You can find the second flower after helping Neva up the second platform gap. It’s right under the tree branch.
3		The third flower can be found at night. It’s covered in thorns at first, but you can hit a masked enemy to the right to open the way.
4		The fouth flower can be found after you get separated from Neva during a chase scene. To reach it, walk off the platform on the left and, as you’re falling, jump to the platform on the right.
5		The fifth flower can be found when you drop down into a thorny path on your own. To reach it, drop down from the platform on the left, dodge past the thorn, and jump toward the platform on the right.

Chapter 2: Fall

Visual Reference	Instructions
	Make your way to the right until you encounter the White Flowers. Climb these to reach the higher platforms.
	Up here, continue to the right until you reach the platforms. From there, climb the flowers on both the right and left sides to reach higher ground.
	Continue making your way up and to the left. When the platforms split in front of you, climb to the left side, then move up and to the right.

	Eventually, another set of platforms will split before you. Stand on the platform on the lower right and wait until the platform on your left is slightly lower so you can reach it.
	Then, wait until your platform rises slightly before jumping to the left and dashing to the right.
	After encountering enemies, you’ll find a gray structure that needs to be activated. Start by going to the left and use the White Flowers to slide downward.
	As the sky begins to turn red, jump and drive your sword into the slightly broken platform.

	After a brief combat section, Neva will howl at the lotus flower above you. Head to the right and climb the White Flowers.
	While standing on the platform on the right, jump and dash toward the White Flowers.
	Climb your way out of this area and return to the cube from before. Now, it’s time to head to the right.
	Climb the White Flowers on the right and prepare for a brief combat encounter with a flying enemy.
	Jump onto the floating platforms when they are low, and wait for them to rise before jumping to the next objective.
	Complete the climbing section until you reach the next lotus flower. After a brief encounter with enemies, Neva will howl at it.

	Head back down and press Y to activate the totem.
	To solve this Totem puzzle, hit the plate, and as soon as you do, begin climbing the platforms to reach the top.
	Start climbing on the left side and then move on to the right side. On the top, you’ll find White Flowers to climb.
	Above, you’ll go through a chase sequence, so be prepared to climb quick.
	Once you’re back on your feet, head to the right and assist Neva in dealing with the wild boars.
	When you find the closed flower, strike the bottom to open a temporary platform that you and Neva can use to cross to the other side.

	Keep making your way to the right until you spot a series of closed flower platforms.
	Hit the one on the center to open them all up. Then make your way from the bottom to the top to reach the platform on the right.
	Stick to the right until you run into an encounter with two flamingos. Past it, follow the branch platform until you fall.
	Below, you’ll face a boar. Jump and dash above it to avoid taking damage. When the enemies stick out of its mouth, attack to deal damage.
	As you’re behind held down by the hands and the boar is about to charge to you, press R or R1 to ask Neva to charge at the enemy.
	To the right, you’ll reach another platform with closed flowers. You can use Neva’s charge power to open them up.
	As you climb the White Flowers, you can use Neva’s charge attack to clear the way up.
	Here, you can use Neva’s charge to open the flowers and climb your way up. Keep in mind that you can throw Neva at the flowers again if they start to shake.
	To beat this huge Wild Boar, you must throw Neva at the enemies sticking out of its head. You can just ignore the enemies on your level.
	When you reach this new area with flower platforms, start by shooting the big flower on the upper left and climbing the first two smaller flowers below.
	Here, shoot the big flower on the upper right and climb your way up.
	At this point, shoot the big flower on the left and continue climbing.
	Now, shoot the big flower to your right to reach the platform on the far right.
	To defeat the deer enemies, stay off the ground and behind them to avoid damage from their spikes and charges. You can strike one with your sword while having Neva charge at the other.
	After you’re taken underground, stand above the fragile ground and use your sword to break it.
	Keep making your way forward until you find a second set of fragile ground. Here, you’ll find Neva to the right.
	Break the ground beneath you to the right.
	Here, drop down into the mouth and jump and dash to the left.

Next, jump through the mouth, then jump and dash again to reach the platform on the left.

	Here, go through the mouth on the left and climb the platforms to reach the White Flowers.
	Jump into the mouth and dash to the White Flowers on the other side.
	As you stand on the center, break the ground beneath you.
	When the area turns read, go through the mouth on the center right.
	You’ll appear on the mouth to the right and must quickly go in through the mouth below it.
	Repeat the process once more to catch a Hidden Flower. Then continue below.
	Here, go through the mouth on the ground and, as you’re falling, dash to the left and grab onto the White Flowers.
	In this area, go through the mouth on the left and defeat all the enemies to open the way back up.
	With one half of the cube powered, head to the right side and inside the mouth at the end of the hallway. Grab onto the White Flowers and start to climb.
	As soon as you drop down on the left side here, you’ll face an enemy and Neva will howl at a lotus flower.
	As soon as you drop down, activate the Totem.

	Hit the plate on the right platform.
	Then, climb on the platform to the left and hit that plate.
	Dash inside the mouth and jump to reach the platform to the right.
	Ask Neva to charge at the plate on the left side.
	Jump inside the mouth facing upwards and start your descent.
	When you reach an area you can’t pass through because of a masked enemy, have Neva distract him while you jump.
	When you reach this red area, jump inside the mouth below the platform you’re standing on.
	Then, jump and dash to the mouth to the right.
	Below, have Neva distract the enemy on the lower left while you climb the White Flowers and dash to the platform above her.

	After a fighting sequence, drop into the mouth on any side and dash to the left immediately to grab onto some White flowers.
	Here, drop inside the fish’s mouth to the left. Then, dash to the right immediately to go inside a mouth.
	Repeat this process twice to reach a safe platform.
	Then, just keep dropping down until you reach the boss arena.
	To beat this fox boss, just dodge his attacks until the masked enemies stick out of his mouth. Here, have Neva charge at him and deal damage while he’s on the ground.

	Very early into the Chapter, you’ll run into a set of White Flowers on a wall. Before you jump on them and climb up, slide down to find the first Hidden Flower in Fall.

As soon as you reach the floating platforms with roots, look for a small one on the left. You can reach it by stepping off the platform on the right, then jumping, dashing, and jumping again. Climb the flowers on the wall to the right to discover the second Hidden Flower.

When you reach the area with floating debris, look for a flower on the platforms to the left. To reach it, you must climb onto the flowers on the right wall of the debris, drop, and dash to the left. Repeat this process twice and jump onto the platform with the hidden flower to get it.

On the right side of the square you need to light up, look for a set of White Flowers to the left. When you climb on them, the platform will split, revealing a hidden White Flower. Ascend to reach it

	After the chase sequence that ends with your fall, head to the left and use the White Flowers to reach the platform on the right, where you can grab the hidden flower.
	Once you have Neva’s charge, follow the path to the right and climb a cliff with White Flowers.Then, walk off the platform on the left and use Neva’s charge to open the flowers. Jump and dash to reach the first one at the bottom and climb the rest before the timer runs out to find a hidden flower.

In the red platforming area, go through the fish’s mouth in the center, jump, and then enter the fish’s mouth below it. Repeat this process on the left side to reach the hidden flower.

There’s a hidden flower in plain sight where you power up a Totem. You can only access it if you break each side by throwing Neva. This will cause the platform to fall, letting ton access that hidden flower.

	As you make your way to the pitch-dark area with masked enemies, you’ll have to slide down a wall with White Flowers. Instead of sliding all the way down, stop halfway and dash to the left to find a secret platform with a hidden flower.
	If you light up the path with Neva, you can spot a hidden flower to the left. To reach it, break the fragile ground beneath you and drop into the mouth on the left side. As you fall, dash past the masked corpses and grab onto the White Flowers on the wall. Climb them, and at the top, dash to the right.

Chapter 3: Winter

Visual Reference	Instructions
	Ride Neva until you reach an area with debris. Here, climb the platforms to reach the area to the upper right.
	When you fall, make your way to the left. It’s a long road, so make sure you mount Neva.
	As the colors turn black and gray, stand on top of this structure and break the fragile ground beneath you.

	In the area with breakable blocks, break the block to the left to reveal a shorter platform.
	Stand on it and jump on the platform to the right.
	Wait for the platform to the left to rebuild and use it to reach the exit to the left.
	After breaking the fragile ground, climb the flowers and make your way to the right.

	To solve this puzzle, break the block at the bottom and pass through the hole.
	Stand on the platform to the right, break the block in the center, and dash through it. Make sure you grab onto the White Flowers on the left.
	Break the block on top and dash to the platform you’ve just created.
	As you stand here, break the blocks to the right and keep going.

	Here, break the block at the bottom to pass through. Then, as you stand on the White Flowers, break the block on the upper right and leap on top of this platform. As you stand on this platform, leap to the White Flowers to the upper right.
	To get through this area, stand on the platform to the right and wait for the enemy to approach you to jump on top of the block.
	Then, leap to the White Flowers and climb to the platform on the left.
	After a hallway with breakable blocks, climb on the platforms that look like they’re on the background to reach the White Flowers.

	When you reach this mirrored area, climb the platforms you see mirrored below you.
	You must jump across this shorter platform and land on the taller on ahead.
	Then, leap from the tallest platform to the rock to the right.

After breaking the fragile ground and dealing with enemies, climb the White Flowers on the left.

	Though you can’t see it on the side mirrored on the left, there is a floating platform with White Flowers you can hang on you. Double jump and dash to it.
	Above, use the blocks on the right side as guidance to progress toward the platform on the left.
	After grabbing this flower, stand on the platform below it and crush the ground.

	Here, you can use the mirrored block to dash to the other side.
	Jump on the blocks you see on the mirrored side to reach the area on the left.
	Here, you must jump back to reach the block that’s slightly higher.
	Then, as you stand on it, double jump and dash to the left.
	As long as you stay on the higher blocks, you’ll make it to the solid platform ahead.
	After a fighting sequence, use the smaller mirrored blocks tor each a block with White Flowers.
	Then, jump and dash to the smaller block on the left. The next step here is to grab the flowers nearby it.
	If you jump across to the right, you’ll be able to grab onto the White Flowers on the mirrored block there. After that, just dash to safety.
	Here, jump to the White Flowers on the mirrored block.
	Climb on top of it and jump to the right to grab onto the White Flowers of another mirrored block.
	From the top of this block, double jump and dash to the left to land on a smaller block. Then, grab onto the White Flowers of the slightly larger block to the right. From there, dash to the right, and jump and dash back to the left to land on a small square-shaped block. Now just climb up the White Flowers.
	After helping out your gray wolf friend, activate the Totem.
	Start climbing on the left side and use the lit-up cube to cross over to the right side to reach higher ground.
	Here, use the floating masked enemy to bounce to the platform on the upper left.
	Here, bounce off the floating masked enemies to reach the White Flowers, climb them, and then bounce off the last one to the left to reach the top of this structure.
	With the help of the masked enemy here, reach the White Flowers on the right side.
	In this battle encounter, you can jump over the tall blocks in front of enemies by damaging the floating enemies.
	Hit the floating enemies from the bottom right to the upper right to reach the platform with the gray wolf.
	After a cutscene, activate the Totem and climb the stairs to the left.
	Here, hit the plate to lift the platforms with White Flowers.
	Jump on the platform on the left, hit the plate here, then hop on the one to the right.
	Climb the White Flowers and make your way to the left exit.
	Here, hit the plate on the lower left.
	Then, hit the plate on the right.
	Hit the plate on the left and dash to the exit.
	Here, hit the plate to rotate the platform ahead.
	Cling to the White Flowers on the upper left side of the platform. Then, drop down, dash, and grab the White Flowers below it.
	Hit the plate on this side then use the White Flowers to climb to a higher level and exit through the stairs on the left.
	Here, hit the plate on the right side and climb onto the White Flowers on the wall of the elevated platform.
	Hit the plate on the upper left to lower the platform and have access to more White Flowers.
	Hit the plate at the top to head up.
	Here, lure the enemy toward you and climb onto the platform.
	Then, jump across to the other side and lure the enemy toward you to reach the platform again. Use the stairs to exit through the right side.
	Make your way up and avoid the falling blocks to meet the final boss of Neva.

	When you reach the area with debris, ride Neva toward the platform to the left, double jump with her, and then hop off to reach it.Then, just climb your way to the flower on the right.

	After the fall sequence, head left until you spot these floating structures with White Flowers. Leap off of Neva’s back to reach and climb the flowers.Dash to the opposite side and keep climbing up to reach the hidden flower.
	A bit past the second flower, climb the White Flowers on the left side of this building and fight the enemies on top.Then, slide down the White Flowers on the right and dash as you drop down to reach this hidden flower.
	To reach the hidden flower in this area, stand on the platform to the right and wait for the block to drop on the masked enemy. Then, leap on top of it.The next step is to jump to the White Flowers and ask Neva to destroy the block that’s protecting the enemy to cause it to respawn. Here, jump to the right to grab the flower.

	After the fighting cutscene in which the gray wolf rescues you, you’ll spot this structure. To reach the flower, climb the platforms and the White Flowers. You have to drop down and dash super quick to the left to reach it.
	A bit further to the fifth flower’s right, you’ll spot a second structure with White White Flowers to climb. After a fighting sequence, slide down the White Flowers on the left and jump to the hidden flower.
	This flower is in plain sight. You can find it after completing the mirrored blocks puzzle.
	Here, use the floating masked enemy to bounce to the platform on the upper left. Then, use his respawn to reach the White Flowers on the right and climb them to find a hidden flower.
	After a cutscene, activate the Totem and climb the stairs to the left. Then, use the roof of the plate to reach a flower on the right.

Here, hit the plate on the lower left. Then, hit the plate on the right. Drop down and hit the plate on the right again to find a secret flower.

On the area with the rotating platform follow the puzzle until you stand above the plate on the left side.Here, hit the plate and bounce back to the top. Now from the upper level, use the rotating platform to reach the White Flowers on the right.

	A bit further, you can hit a plate under a masked enemy statue to head upward. However, if you hit the plate to lower the platform and quickly dash to the right side, you can climb the platform above it to grab a flower.
	In the puzzle with the enemy pushing a platform, hit the plate until the stairs reach this position.Then, climb onto the White Flowers in the center to reach a hidden flower.

Bird #	Visual Reference	Instructions
1		After you fall down, ride Neva to the left and leap when you spot a glowing bird on a flower.
2		After the first puzzle with breakable blocks, you’ll find fragile soil beneath you. Before you break it, climb the stairs to the left and walk past a fake wall. Behind it, you’ll spot a hidden bird.
3		After the cutscene with the gray wolf, ride Neva to the right until you spot a branch with a bird on its end.
4		To find the fourth bird, you must reach a mirrored block that’s at the very bottom of this area. It’s obscured by the clouds, so it kind of looks like you’re falling to your death.

There are no puzzles in Chapter 4, but there is one hidden flower. Here’s how you can find it:

	When you start the final chapter, head to the left until you find a lake with a hidden flower in the center.

• Wily: In Summer Part 2, let the boss kill an enemy with its long-range tentacle attack.

• Establishment: Finish Fall Part 1.
• Growth: Finish Fall Part 2.
• Dormancy: Finish Fall Part 3.
• Mentoring: Soothe Neva 4 times when she plays with enemy corpses in Fall Part 1.
• Empathy: Honor all 10 corrupted animals during Fall Part 2.
• Comfort: Break all 12 enemy statues in Fall Part 3.

Winter Achievements:

• Flowering: Finish Winter Part 1.
• Pollination: Finish Winter Part 2.
• Curiosity: Find the 4 hidden birds in Winter Part 1.
• Longing: Call for Neva 5 times at the beginning of Winter Part 2.

Anytime Achievements:

• Seed: Finish the game.
• Blossoming: Find all 29 collectible flowers scattered throughout the game.
• Loving: Pet Neva 20 times throughout the game.
• Memories: Sing under the tree in Spring.
