There are many hidden places in Date Everything, including an Attic firmly locked against intruders at the start of the game. However, after finding the key, there is a particular dateable who will only come out after it gets dark.
Zoey is the ghost that lives in the attic of the house in Date Everything. She is easiest to see after dusk, which includes the last two charges on the Dateviators. She does have a content warning for a graphic backstory, so players will get a warning if they have the trigger alert turned on.
Below is everything you need to know for finding Zoey and getting all her possible endings.
Table of contents
Where to find Zoey the Ghost in Date Everything

To interact with Zoey, players will need to unlock the Attic. To do this, they will need to work through Beau’s storyline. Beau will help players find and unlock the Crawl Space via the door under the rug in the office closet. The Crawl Space can also be opened at the start of the game by unrolling the rug in the office closet to uncover the door.
In the closet, players will find a key. This key, Keith, will open the Attic door. Once open, wait until there are no charges on the Dateviators and then enter the attic. Interact with the floating blue orb near the pile of boxes. This will introduce players to Zoey.
How to Get the Love Ending with Zoey

First Interaction
Zoey will start the conversation with a simple “Hi”. To start the path toward a love ending, answer with “Holy coldfront”.
She will respond with excitement. Respond next with “Meeting me is the best day ever?”
On the third answer, respond “I might already love you.”
On the third answer, respond “I’ve always wanted to meet a ghost!”
Second Interaction
- “Like Spiders”
- “I don’t think I know exactly…”
- Anything I want to talk to, I can!
- It IS real!
- That’s ok…sad is pretty normal, sometimes.
- That’s more sad than anything…
- Well, a lot of things in this house have a lot of attitude.
- Tell me about it!
- Huh. So you can’t leave this room?
- What’s “it”?
- Okay…here you go!
- Are you saying you’re lonely?
- You’re dealing with it well…
- It’s really crowded living alone!
- Hell yeah, there are! We can make a list and feel every single one!
- Zoey, are you crying?
Third Interaction
For this interaction, be sure to have rescued Bodhi the Time Capsule from the Crawl Space.
- I am indeed! How are you feeling?
- You remember Someone? Tell me about him!
- For a ghost, I don’t know…
- I’ll stay if you just ask, honestly.
- We can talk about that later…
- The first thing I’ll probably tell you about is the rope burn!
- …what?
- I’d guess early twenties?
- Hm. That might be creepy.
- Absolutely, what’s up?
- I’ve met a time capsule in the basement, could that be where your stuff is?
Fourth Interaction
Speak with Bohdi to collect the pink heart necklace, and then return to Zoey that night.
- It is really pretty. I can see why you like it so much.
- So happy for you!
- Zoey, it’s ok. I want to hear about it!
- I’m glad you did, Zoey. Now what did you remember?
- Aerospace engineering?
- I get it.
- Oh wow, that’s such an amazing memory!
- Sounds like you had a crush on this guy.
- So you guys started talking regularly, then?
- My favorites are pencil lead, bleach, and earl grey tea.
- Huh, weird, me too!
- Did you ever get anybody?
- I’m sure you are. Not everyone becomes a ghost.
- I think you do get to see that, once you make peace with how you died.
- For sure. I’m kind of wondering if Rudy had anything to do with it.
- I’m saying it’s possible.
- Zoey, it’s important to remember so that you can move on!
Fifth Interaction
- Yeah. I was worried about you.
- I’m glad I could.
- What do you remember? Anything at all.
- It’s not ok that he was getting aggravated with you.
- It’s ok…take your time.
- Did you fall?
- He left you up here?
- This is intense.
- What an asshole.
- Congratulations!
Sixth Interaction
- Hahahaha. That…is a totally solid point.
- About what?
- Don’t move on to the beyond…please.
- If we can get back into that open energy, you might be able to make it here fully!
- I think I know some other folks up here who’d be down to help us out!
Seventh Interaction
You will need to have found Shadowlord, Nightmare, and Reggie at minimum to complete the next interaction.
- Lead on! I’m ready and roarin’.
Eight Interaction
Speak with Zoey during the day while you still have charges on the Dateviators.
- What do you mean?
- The more time I get with you one on one, the better. I want you all to myself.
How to get the Friends Ending with Zoey
When speaking with Zoey during the eighth interaction, respond with “I’ve really loved our friendship, Zoey. Let’s keep having fun!” This will trigger the friendship ending.
How to get the Hate Ending with Zoey
This one is pretty straightforward. To get Zoey to hate you, mock her and be cruel about her joy in rediscovering herself. It’s a pretty miserable ending on this one.
