There are plenty of strange romanceable objects in Date Everything, and Dante, the fireplace, is up at the top of the list. With a body made of burning logs and an expression that is an actual smolder, he will have you confused about touching fire.
Dante is a strange character, because it is best to wait until you have amassed many Perk Points to talk to him. This is primarily because you can use high Perk levels to unlock specific responses during the dialogue. Much like Cam the trashcan, this can be very important to getting the desired outcome.

Where to find Dante in Date Everything
To find Dante, interact with the fireplace in the living room. This is his only location, so be sure to pop by and check on him while speaking with the other furniture.
How to Get the Love Ending with Dante

First Interaction
After Dante introduces himself, respond with “I like the sound of that”.
- “Help?”
- “Student?!”
- “Pickup skills?”
- “You really think I’m worthy?” and then follow up with, “Sounds good!”
If you don’t have 50 Charm, follow the next conversation up with, “Bring it on!”
If you don’t have 40 Poise, follow the next challenge up with “Fire away!”
After Dante tries the first pickup line, if you don’t have 60 Empathy, choose, “Pretty dang good. It’d probably work on me.”
Respond again with, “Change the opener.”
If you don’t have 30 charm or 50 Sass, you won’t be able to change the opener or the ending.
In the next interaction, if you don’t have 70 Empathy, respond with “As long as you’re not relying on them, they can be pretty fun!”
When he asks you to take on The Way of the Flame, respond with, “Bring it on.”
Second Interaction
Start this interaction off by responding with, “I’m so stoked!”
For the quiz, respond with the following:
- Catcalling?
- You’re really passionate about this kind of stuff, huh?
- Observations?
- Whooooa….
- Ask them who their favorite character is?
- Nice!! That makes a lot of sense.
- “Oh man, I love them! Are you going with any friends?”
- Sounds complicated/Sass Response for 20 points
Third Interaction
- More icebreaking? What else could there be?
- Observations?
- Sure…
- So, how do you know…Ash? Our, um…mutual friend?
- What do you do at the office? Do you enjoy it?
- Actually, yeah!
- What aspect of love do you think is most important in life?
- Thanks for speaking from the heart, Dante.
Fourth Interaction
- Let’s go!
- Go on.
- No, of course not.
- I’m ready, sensei.
- Actively nod along and ask them questions along the way.
- Sure Dante, I love talking to you outside of school.
- Why are you so “into” love?
- That’s actually really sweet, Dante.
Fifth Interaction
- Already?
- I wanted to get to know you better.
- Yes please!
- Old is cool! Where’d you get it? Do you like to thrift?
- You okay, Dante?
- What?! This was your idea!
- Tell me what love is to you?
- I think I get what you mean…what’s the best way somebody like me could show you love?
- Ouch!!
Dante will kiss you and seal the deal. You two are now lovers.
How to Get the Friends Ending with Dante
In the second interaction, near the end, let Dante know you aren’t looking for love, but friendship. Be careful not to accidentally offend him, however, or you’ll get the hate ending.
How to Get the Hate Ending with Dante
This one is pretty easy. Just be extremely rude. Call his advice stupid. Make fun of his sincerity. It’s a bit awful to watch, but it’ll get the job done.
