Dragon Age: The Veilguard throws you headfirst into Tevinter with little more than seven “trusty” companions and your (hopefully) sharp combat skills.
Brace yourself for Darkspawn galore, ritualists, constructs, and – because that’s not enough – the ultimate foes: maddening traversal puzzles and those ever-so-close-yet-impossible-to-reach treasure chests.
In this guide, we’ll break down all the basics and steps of Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
**This guide is still in progress and receiving regular updates. It is important to note that The Veilguard contains a complex combination of story choices. Because of this, some impacts from choices may be updated as the game progresses. This guide was last updated 11/16/2024**

How to Unlock Fast Travel

Fast Travel unlocks after completing the investigation at D’Meta’s Crossing. After this, players can open their map and access activated Fast Travel Beacons to return to locations across the world.
- After waking up, speak with Varrick, then head out to explore the area.
- Speak with every character, and then prepare to head back through the Eluvian to learn more about what is going on, and what Solas warned Rook about.
How to Change Appearance

You unlock the ability to change your appearance once you get access to the Lighthouse, after “The End of the Beginnning”, which is the first main quest that asks you to interrupt Solas’ ritual.
To change your appearance, head to Varric’s room inside the Lighthouse and look for a mirror to the room’s left corner: The Mirror of Transformation. It’s is also signaled in the map with a mirror icon.
In the Mirror of Transformation, you can customize your appearance for free. Nothing is off-the table, from hair, to body shape, to skin color – you can change anything about your Rook’s appearance. That said, you can’t change their race or background.
How to Rank Up Shops

When you first try to purchase something from a shop, you’ll notice some options have a lock icon on them. To get access to them, you’ll need to increase the shop’s rank with materials and by bonding with the faction that shop belongs to.
For example, if you’re shopping at Arlathan Forest’s Veil Jumper campsite, then complete side quests in this area to improve your relationship with them. You’ll also need a few materials to rank up the shop, which you usually find scattered in the same area.
When you’re ready, approach the shop and look for the Rank up prompt to the right side of the screen.
How to Hide Helmet

You can hide your helmet in Dragon Age: The Veilguard by opening the Character tab in the menu. Here, look for an eye icon next to your character’s helmet. You can either choose to hide it always, hide it during cutscenes, or never hide it at all.
How Many Save Files Can You Have in Dragon Age: The Veilguard?
While you can create a total of 100 save files in Dragon Age: The Veilgaurd, you are limited to only three different Rooks.
That means you can only create three characters and three separate storylines at a time before you’ll have to overwrite your creations.
How to Complete The End of the Beginning
Find Neve Gallus

After having a conversation (or brawl) with the barkeeper, walk through the streets of Minrathous. Follow Varric until you get a cutscene of Solas tearing the veil.
Then, sprint and parkour behind Varric until you spot Harding. Here, fight the demons approaching you. You can pick up two potion from the green jars to the alley’s right wall.

Across the bridge, make sure you take down the Venatori cultists before proceeding. Here, you’ll run into a red barrier that’s blocking the way. To get through, shoot the red crystal holding the barrier together with a ranged or melee attack.

After fighting some more Venatori, exit the rundown temple and slide down to meet Neve Gallus. This barrier belongs to her, so just “Investigate” it to get her introductory cutscene.
Find Solas

With one extra companion, start your journey to finding Solas. Go across the makeshift bridge to the right and use the Zipline to descend.
Here, you’ll encounter enemies with cyan barriers, who you should take down using your character’s ranged attack. Once the barrier’s been depleted, you can damage their health bar directly.

After Neve opens the entrance to the right, you must explore the Dread Wolf’s hideout. Climb up the ledges and inspect the paintings to learn more about this elf.
At the end of the hideout, you’ll spot a narrow passage to slide through. On the other end await some demons, so be ready for battle. Once you take down all enemies, Harding says the door is locked.

To find a way out, climb the ledge with the potion jar and hug the wall to the left. To your right, you’ll spot a lever you can Activate to open the door.
Keep following the marker down the hideout to find Solas’ Eluvian, approach it, and step through to get closer to Solas.
Stop the Ritual

You’re suddenly teleported to another location, the Arlathan Forest – and a wave of demons has gathered to greet you. Make sure you break their yellow armor with bonus damage attacks.
Follow the quest marker up the hill and head inside these ruins to the left. Keep making your way up the stairs until you run into a second wave of demons, which have barriers instead of armor.
How to beat the Pride Demon

The Pride Demon is protected by its cyan barrier, which you must deplete using Ranged Attacks, and yellow armor, which you must break with bonus attack damage.
Its most consistent attack is slashing the area in front of it twice, projecting the slash damage slightly beyond his reach. You can easily dodge or block this attack.
Another one of its moves consists in projecting orbs of lighting all over the arena. They will be marked with a red, telegraphed circle, so make sure you stay out of them.
After this battle, you’ll be right before Solas, and Varric will present you with your first choice:
Should you support Varric’s plan?

This is a mistake
You can do it
If you don’t support Varric’s plan and say “This is a mistake”, you’re not putting your faith in Varric’s knowledge of Solas. This earns you Neve’s disapproval and Harding’s approval.
In the end, Varric will approach Solas anyway and ends up being severely injured because of this interaction.
If you support Varric’s plan and say “You can do it”, you’re putting your faith in Varric’s knowledge of Solas. This earns you Neve’s approval and Harding’s disapproval.
In the end, Varric ends up being severely injured because of this interaction.
While Varric has a word with “Chuckles”, you’re left to your own devices. It’s time to deal with some more demons and another choice:
Should Neve or Harding help you disrupt the ritual?

Whoever follows you into greater danger will greatly approve of this decision, but will end up getting injured as a result. As the pillars fall, one of them hits the character you bring along with you.
The injuries aren’t fatal, but there’s a choice to let the injured companion stay behind in the next quest.
How to Complete Shadows of an Ancient Arlathan
Explore the Lighthouse

After speaking with Solas, it’s time to gather your team at the library table. If you want to complete the optional objectives, check on Neve in her office to wolf statue’s left and on Harding in her room across the tree-roots bridge.
When you’re ready, head inside the main building in the lighthouse and sit at the library table to progress the main story.
During this conversation, you’ll learn that Neve wants to investigate before acting while Harding’s ready to jump right into the action. If you choose to say “Harding’s right”, Neve will disapprove; if you choose to say “Neve’s right”, Harding will disapprove.
Investigate Solas’ ritual site

After your meeting, you can find the Eluvian room by heading down the stairs behind the library. Here, select Gather Team to proceed.
You’ll meet a pair of Veil Jumpers, Strife and Irelin, who’ll point you toward the Veil Jumper expert you actually need: Bellara.
Should you tell Neve or Harding to stay with the Veil Jumpers?

After coming out in the Elven Ruins, Rook will intercept a handful of Veil Jumpers who know Harding. After explaining that the Elven gods have escaped, you can then tell the injured party member, be it Harding or Neve to stay behind.
Ask them to stay
Allow them to come
If you ask Neve or Harding to stay, you can use force or you can persuade them. They are seriously injured, so this is the better call.
This party member is seriously injured, and may not be able to defend themselves. This is a risk we decided not to take in our first playthrough of the game.
How to Complete In Entropy’s Grasp
Head to the temple in the woods

Head deep into the woods looking for Bellara. After defeating a construct enemy, you’ll get a cutscene introducing her.
Following the map marker, head toward the temple hidden deep in the woods. Be sure to explore the area for caches with valuable items or materials.

Before the temple, there is a small camp located near the waterfall. Inside is a large chest and a note explaining what caused the demise of the two skeletons on the floor.
Help Bellara deactivate the artifact

Enter the temple and look around. The main point of interest in this room is the large chest right in plain sight.
Continue through the doors on the other side of the room and Bellara will encourage you to hurry and get to where the artifact you are hunting is likely located.
On your way down the steps, make a right turn and look down over the edge. In this alcove is a doorway blocked by rotting crates. Destroy these and enter. Inside is a Common Flawless Crystal.

After getting this, head down the pathway and locate the Power Crystal. Pick it up and place it in the receiver to summon a bridge.
Ask Bellara to deactivate the artifact by opening the directions menu with Tab or the Right Bumper on the controller. Assign the task of deactivation to Bellara.
Fight the enemies that are drawn to the location, and then keep moving forward. Be sure to explore the offshoot trails along the main road to pick up healing potions and learn more about the area via notes left by previous explorers.

Continue into the next temple building and go to the left. Investigate the room first, then take the Power Crystal and head to the right area of the room. Locate the receiver and place the Power Crystal inside to open the door.
Go through the door and collect the loot from the large chest.
Note: In the next area, several sentinels are waiting to attack the group. Make sure your party is healed and ready to go.
After defeating the sentinels in the room, move on to the next outdoor area. Explore the ruins to find a chest and some crafting materials.
After this, activate the Amplifier and defeat the enemies that spawn.

Moving into the next area, use the ballista to break the stone of the far door. Doing this will cause a horde of Darkspawn to run at the team. Use the weapon to take out the horde, and then move through the door into the abandoned camp.
Here, a third Amplifier will be waiting. Fixing this will awaken the three sentinels around the device. Defeat them to move forward.
Follow the pathway around to the next area. As you approach, more constructs will be visible waiting for you. This time, it will be a Frenzied Sentinel with a bigger health bar and the ability to summon Darkspawn and other monsters during the fight. Playing as a Rogue, I was able to dodge attacks and hit the construct from a distance. Now is a great time to heal up and make sure level points have been allotted.
Note: Be sure to grab the chest neat the Sentinel.
How to Open The Doors in the Elven Ruins Broken Stairway
In this area, there will be two empty receivers. One will be near where the mini-boss fight occurred, the other will be near a closed door beyond an archway across the platform. Power crystals are needed to open the door but only one is present. If you look to the left of the door, you can see a Power Crystal just beyond Rook’s grasp.
To open the doors in the Elven Ruins Broken Stairway, follow these steps:
After this, the Broken Stairway door will open, and the party can head on through to the sanctum.
Be sure to heal your party, because the big boss is ready to cause some trouble. Here, the party will stand off against an Ogre to reclaim the magical relic that is powering the bubble.
How To Defeat the Ogre in the Floating Archival Temple

This isn’t a particularly difficult fight. The Ogre has several slow, heavy attacks that can be dodged or blocked if timed correctly. Thankfully, the Ogre will glow red before unblockable attacks, giving Rook a window to skirt out of the way.
As a rogue, I kept my distance and hammered it with arrows. I also had the ability Rain of Decay unlocked and equipped. This creates an onslaught of poisonous arrows in a small diameter around where it is cast. The duration of the ability lasts several seconds and will deal a decent amount of damage to the Ogre.
For those working with a fighting build, get in and hit it between attacks and then back off while it starts swinging and jumping.
There are a few potion casks in here, but I didn’t find myself low on health, as I managed to stay out of range of most attacks.
Collect the loot from the chest after the fight, and then speak to Bellara to leave.
How to Complete the Shadow Crossing Quest

After completing the previous quest, Rook and his party will be taken to the Veil Jumper encampment. Things are looking bleak here, and dangers are growing. Rook is asked to take the party to the D’Meta’s Crossing to see if any rescues can be made.

Before leaving this area, be sure to visit the merchant in the corner. Here, you can sell valuables and purchase gear for the team. You won’t have a lot of money yet, but at this point, everyone on the team should have an upgraded weapon if possible.
After this, follow the quest marker out of camp to start towards D’Meta’s Crossing.
- Be sure to stop and use Bellara’s ability on the broken Power Crystal to access a chest just down the road from the Veil Jumper Camp.
- Keep that Power Crystal with you and walk toward the water. Hidden around the corner is another receiver. Place the Power Crystal to form a bridge to access the platform out of reach.
There isn’t much else to investigate at this time, so head to Neve and let her know you are ready to depart.
D’Meta’s Crossing

Upon arriving, D’Meta’s crossing isn’t what Bellara knows it to be. It’s clear something terrible has happened. Rook’s first task is to establish contact with the village.
After getting past the first jump and into the town, the party will find the entire area taken over by a mutated type of Blight. Follow your quest marker through the town. There is nothing to collect and no hidden puzzles. Just head forward and speak to the party members whenever they have an active conversation marker above their heads.
After hitting a Blight to clear a path through a wall near a group of brainwashed villagers, Rook will slide through and discover the missing Veiljumpers. After the cutscene, continue following the quest marker forward.
You’ll hear a cry for help. Attack the Blight to clear a path in the wall. Then run through the opening to find the Town’s Mayor being held captive.
Note: It isn’t possible to save mid-scene during choices like this. Those who want to branch their saves should do so before entering the next area.
Should You Save D’Meta’s Mayor or Leave Him for Dead in Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Save the Mayor
Leave him for dead
If you choose to save the mayor, Bellara will be heavily disappointed in you. She disapproves of this choice, and believes you should take justice into your own hands.
Neve, on the other hand, approves of this choice.
If you choose to leave the mayor to his fate, Neve will disapprove of your decision and say that “wolves will get him in the night – or something worse.” She also questions whether it’s your group’s place to judge this man’s fate.
Bellara, on the other hand, approves of your choice.
The answer here isn’t clear. Freeing a man who betrayed his town for wealth could present problems down the road, but the knowledge he has of the gods is imperative to understand how he works.
In our current playthrough, we chose to save him. We chose the “We aren’t killers” reasoning, to stay in line with the personality of the Rook being played.
After finishing at D’Meta’s Crossing, head back to the Veil Jumper camp, where an old friend will arrive and offer some direction on what Rook and the party are to do next. After this conversation, the quest will be complete.
How to Complete the Singing Blade Quest

After speaking with Morrigan, Rook and the team have to return to the Ritual Site from the beginning of the game. After arriving, speak with Harding, and then head out to find the Dagger.
Follow the quest marker to the center of the Ritual Site to find the Dagger has been taken. Enter the golden door to spot a Darkspawn.
Chase the Darkspawn to an opening, where a miniboss will drop. After defeating the miniboss, climb through the ruins to the top and use the beam generator that is out of alignment to lift the gate blocking access to the next area.
When you enter the next area make sure you are stocked on potions. This area is loaded with difficult enemies.
After this, head toward the next Blight node blocking your path.

Here, you can see a chest on your minimap. To reach it, look to the left side of the path to find some ledges. Climb onto them, go across the bridge to the left, and grab the chest to find a heavy helm.
How to Open the Blighted Door in The Singing Blade Quest

When you reach the door covered in blight, hit the Red Blight on the left side of the door. Then turn around and hit the Red Blight cluster under the bridge. You can get a clear shot by removing the Power Crystal from the receiver by the door.
After these clusters are taken down, the Blight on the door will turn red. Attack to clear it.

Grab the Power Crystal and head into the building. Place the Power Crystal on the receiver inside the doorway to open the gate.
After opening the gate, defeat the enemies in the area, and then you’ll have another arcane puzzle to solve in order to get past the bigger gate got a large chest.
After getting the chests behind the gate, head over to the other side of the area and attack the Red Blight on the wall to clear a path. Go through the opening into the next area and then follow the quest marker to the end of the ruins.
Here, the dagger thief Darkspawn is waiting for Rook.
Boss Battle: Lyrium Darkspawn

This battle is all about resource management. Make sure you have the healing ability equipped to Neve, as there are not enough potions to make it through this fight in one piece.
The primary opponent will be the Lyrium Darkspawn, but it can also summon more Darkspawn throughout the battle. The ranged attacks from these are some of the most dangerous, as they come from all sides.
Be sure to enter this battle with all skill points allotted, and the bet armor available equipped. Use dodges and blocks to avoid the worst of the damage, and spam the regen healing ability to keep from dying.
This completes The Singing Blade quest line.
How to Complete Into the Crossroads

Head toward the Eluvian down the stairs past the library table in the Lighthouse and have a word with Bellara. After meeting the Caretaker, head through the Eluvian, pick a party, and start the quest.
Once you’re inside the Crossroads, descend the stairs to the right side and board the spirit’s ferry to travel to Converged City, another island in the Crossroads. The goal is to find the Eluvian that will take us to Dock Town or Treviso.

Go through the archway ahead and prepare for a battle against enemies. After they’ve been defeated, approach the door covered in red blight roots with a quest marker.
The Caretaker tells you that, to pass through this door, you’ll need to beat the champion and claim its essence.
How to Defeat the Champion in the Crossroads’ Converged City

To find this champion, turn around and head through the first archway to the right. To the left, you can find a chest and some potions, but the champion lies up the path to the right. Climb the ledges and destroy the Blight Cyst and it’ll spawn.
How to Beat Sirim the Twice-Forged, the Champion

Champions will always be tougher foes. Don’t break that Cyst unless you’ve got all three potions and ideally a healer in the party. Sirim has an orange blight armor you can only break down with charged attacks and, if it’s ready to be unleashed, your ultimate. Using skills against this is useless.
Its most prominent moves include charging at you and leaping toward you, which is marked with a circle-shaped red telegraph on the floor. There’s also a third move in which it swings its maze against the floor, dealing projected damage in a straight line in front of it – again, it’s telegraphed on the floor. For all of these, I’d recommend you dodge.
Once defeated, you get Sirim’s essence to open the door.
This completes the quest Into the Crossroads. Here, you may choose to complete Sea of Blood or The Smuggled Relic case first.
How to Complete Sea of Blood
Find Lucanis

Follow Teia to meet the rest of the crows. During this meeting, you’ll hear of Lucanis, the First Talon’s grandson and, most importantly, the “Demon of Vyrantium.”

Then, follow Illario to the docks to enter the Ossuary. Here, go across the bridge following the quest marker. Though the magic holding the bridge to your left has been removed, you can carry on to the right.

To destroy remove the red barrier ahead, you must destroy the floating crystals first. If you destroy the crystal on the barrier to the left, you can find a chest. When you’re ready, proceed through the door ahead.
Find and Destroy the Vial of Lucanis’ blood

You found Lucanis, but he can’t leave until you destroy the vial of his blood. Face the group of Venatori outside this room and grab the golden key the left on the floor. Then, use it to open the door on the right, which was previously locked.

Before trying to solve the barrier puzzles, clear the area of enemies. Then, follow these steps:
- Look for a tiny device inside a cell up the stairs.
- Head down the stairs and place it next to this archway to deploy a bridge.
- Here, destroy the crystal above and the crystals on the red barriers. Some darkspawn will come out of the cells, but you’ll find a chest.

Head back upstairs and shoot the crystal above the golden tree statue before opening the red barriers. Make sure you bring back the construct you used to open the cells downstairs to deploy a bridge here.

Use Lucanis’ power to reveal Fade anomalies and create a bridge to continue down this path, but prepare for a tough battle in the lab ahead. When you’re ready, destroy the crystal holding the red barrier ahead together.

Here, you’ll find an open room surrounded by several smaller rooms. Here’s how to solve it:
How to Beat Calivan

Calivan’s main move is shooting projectiles at you, but he often telegraphs a strip of spikes on the ground before projecting them. Defeating him in this form won’t be hard once you get past his cyan barrier, but once he’s defeated, Calivan’s Pride spawns.
This form has the same attacks as the first Pride Demon you faced earlier in the game but double the shields. As long as you’re consistent and keep up your defenses throughout the battle, you’ll be able to beat him.
Once the Pride demon is defeated, regular Calivan returns, so don’t let your guard down. Bring down his cyan barrier with ranged attacks, which should also help you determine which of his clones is the real one.
After defeating Calivan, you’ll go back to Treviso and wrap things up with the crows, though the First Talon has been tragically murdered.
How to Complete the Smuggled Relic Case
Investigate the magical disturbances

Follow Neve as she gives you a tour around Dock Town. You’ll eventually reach a locked door, so follow the path to the left through the crumbled walls. Prepare for a demon encounter once you’re back outside.
Look for a secluded altar on the right side of the plaza. Have Neve use her powers on the wisp while you loot the items below the statue.

A bit further ahead, you’ll reach a sealed wall. Again, ask Neve to take care of it. Then, just follow Neve through the markets. Near the end of the path, you’ll spot an elevator. Here, look to the right and jump off the edge, then climb the ladder. Use the plank to reach the other side and ask Neve to use her wisp magic to ask for another spirit hint.
Find a Way to the Docks

Drop down and activate the elevator from before. Since it’s broken, follow Neve to the gate behind you. You can open it by triggering Neve’s magic on the lever to the gate’s upper left.
Climb the ladder to the right and get ready for a demon encounter on the roofs of Dock Town. Then, use the zipline to descend.

When you’re back on the ground, ask Neve to use her magic on the last clue. Get ready for a Tevinter ambush.
Recover the Relic
After having a word with Rana, make your way to the roof. Here, you’ll find another crystal puzzle.
How to Complete Shadows of Minrathous
Find and investigate the Anvallenim

To start this quest, have a word with Neve at the Lighthouse, fast travel to Dock Town and hear The Viper’s report.
Head down the stairs to the meeting point’s left and head into the city. Here, go through the narrow passage. You should hear Neve say “The Anvallenim should have an entrance this way.” when you’re close. Careful, you’ll find some Venatori on the other side.

Interact with the serpent on the left to open the golden doors. Head all the way to the back room and look for a blight cyst to shoot. Once it’s down, you’ve opened the way out of this room. Get ready for a battle against some darkspawn below.
Investigate the Venatori Activity at the Warehouse

Up the stairs, shoot the cyst on the back wall to open the way out of these sewers. Follow the tunnels back up and speak with The Viper to report on your findings.
After speaking with The Viper, head to the Docks’ elevator and use it to descend. You’ll find a group of Venatori below, but nothing you can’t take care of by now. Here, destroy the crystal on the barrier to pass through.

When you’re done with the Venatori on the roof, look for a golden serpent door and a ladder to descend.
Once you’re in this basement, destroy the barrels and the planks blocking the way to reach the chanting Venatori.
How to Beat the Flamechained Mages and Bound Hurlock

To damage the Hurlock, you’ll first need to take down the Flamechained Mages summoning him. Make these three enemies your top priority at the start of the battle.
Your main problem is you’re in a closed space with a Hurlock with an axe. However, if you make an habit of dodging its axe swings, you should be fine.
Keep in mind potions are limited in this space, so try to take as little damage as possible.
Search the lower floor for evidence

Here’s the evidence you need to find here:
- Investigate the blight draining into the tunnels below the city.
- Read the “A Warning” document by the shelves with green chests.
- Read the “Venatori Missive” book on top of the desk.
- Read the “Ritual instructions” yellow book on the floor.
When you’re ready, head outside to find The Viper.
How to Complete In Peace, In Vigilance

This quest is fairly easy to start. Just head to the Cobbled Swan to speak with the First Warden, who’s not only unhelpful but literally wants to take you prisoner. Luckily, Dorian comes to the rescue.
Head back to the Lighthouse and speak with Harding to acquire the quest A Warden’s Best Friend.
Warning!
Before you continue, make sure you complete these quests:
Treviso: A Slow Poison
Treviso: Coffee with the Crows
Treviso: Bidding Farewell
Dock Town: In Memoriam
Dock Town: A Study of Dock Town
If you complete the quest On Deadly Wings, which comes right after this one and cannot be stalled, you’ll miss out on the above.
How to complete A Warden’s Best Friend

After speaking with Harding, head to the Crossroads and ride the boat to the island to the left, which leads to the Heights of Anthim. Here, explore the area until you find an eluvian that leads to the High Anderfels.
As you arrive on the other side of the eluvian, you’ll have a word with Evka and Antoine. Then, near a campsite, you’ll find a griffon and his owner, Davrin.

Follow Assan up the tower to find the missing Wardens. When you reach the top, look for the logs on the left side to cross over. There’s a hidden chest here. Once you’ve got it open, head back.

Ask Assan to lower the pallets of wood above you and use them to climb to the higher platform. In the area ahead, you’ll fight hordes of darkspawn – they won’t stop coming unless you destroy the blight cyst behind the stone building here.

After the conversation with Remi, you must solve a puzzle:
- Turn the warden on the right so it’s face the golden shield on the right wall.
- Turn the warden on the left twice so it’s facing the silver and gold shield on the wall to the back.
Now, you can open the main door.
Eventually, you’ll reach a broken bridge. Here, look to the left to find another stack of wooden pallets to lower with Assan’s help. Get ready for another fight – don’t forget to pick up the potions from the jars around you. After the fight, break the blight barrier to carry on.

Climb the slope on the right side and use the zipline to reach the other side. After a short combat sequence, you must break the blight cyst and the barrier to push through.

After saying hi to the Griffons, open the blight wall to head out. A tough encounter against several darkspawn, including two Hurlocks and an Ogre, await on the other side.
Destroy the blight cyst to clear the way and climb to the platform where you’ll confront the Gloom Howler – though they won’t stay for a fight.
Should you save Minrathous or Treviso?

Save Minrathous
Save Treviso
If you decide to help Minrathous, Treviso takes a big hit.
The city will suffer major damage and partial destruction from a dragon attack, leaving its iconic canals poisoned and putting the water supply at risk. Many civilians won’t survive, and you’ll find the city much changed.
Lucanis, one of your allies, temporarily leaves your party to aid in rebuilding Treviso. When he returns, he’ll be “hardened,” which affects his abilities – he loses his healing skills, some combat abilities become more aggressive, and he’ll be harder to bond with. This change is permanent, and it also means you’ll lose the chance to romance him.
Helping Minrathous also weakens the Antivan Crows. You lose 100 Strength with them, their merchant vanishes, and Treviso’s streets see an increased Antaam presence.
If you choose to save Treviso, you’ll immediately take an eluvian to the city and make your way to Ghilan’nain’s location to fight Corius the dragon.
This choice has implications for Neve and Minrathous. First off, Neve will leave for the next Act of Dragon Age. She won’t be back until you’ve completed The Dragon Slayer and Where the Dead Must Go.
When she comes back, she’ll be Hardened, which in Dragon Age: The Veilguard means she won’t use healing skills and social bond growth is slowed down.
Minrathous will also be partly destroyed, and the Venatori cultists will take over the city, prompting the Shadow Dragons to go into hiding.
How to complete On Deadly Wings

To defeat Corius the Icetalon in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, a few key strategies can help you turn the tide.
Corius’s main weakness is fire, so make sure to load up on fire-based attacks and bring along allies like Davrin, who can deal significant fire damage.
As you fight, aim for the purple-glowing weak points on Corius’s body; this not only maximizes your damage but also fills his stagger meter faster.
Stay on the move and keep dodging – Corius’s ice attacks and powerful area slams pack a punch, so distance is your friend, especially for ranged attackers like rogues and mages.
Watch for his big attacks. When Corius leaps into the air, get ready to dodge the shockwave from his ground slam. His ice projectiles and deadly ice breath are also hazards, so stay mobile and try to get behind him when he prepares those moves. A red circle on the ground means heavy damage is coming, so step out fast.
As you chip away at Corius’s health, he’ll retreat once you reduce his health by about one-third, signaling the end of the battle.
How to complete A Dragon Slayer

Speak with Harding to learn about Taash’s whereabouts: With the Lords of Fortune in Rivain Coast.
Go to the beach

Make your way south to the beach and defeat the Antaam ahead. They’re sturdy warriors, but you should be fine as long as you don’t waste your three potions quickly.
After you’ve defeated them, head through the gate south and kick the door on the wall to create a makeshift bridge.

On the other side, climb over the rubble and follow the tunnel to reach Dragon Beach, which is full of deepstalkers and the Deepstalker Matriarch. Make sure you grab the potions in the area to stay alive.
Reach the Fort

After the encounter, follow Taash up the ladder until you reach the horn. Interact with it to call the dragon. Climb your way up, kick the wall, and use the wooden log to cross the river and reach the Fort.

Here, pay special attention to the small warden statuettes near the river. Then, use the ladder on the south side of the building to head inside the Fort. Break the wooden plank blocking the way.
Warden statues’ puzzle

To solve the Warden statues puzzle, you must turn the statues to mirror the tiny statues you can find on the surface of the Fort. Here’s the correct position:
- Left statue: Should be facing to the right.
- Middle statue: Should be facing to the left.
- Right statue: Should be facing to the wall.
Solving this puzzle spawns a ladder in the center of the room and opens the door guarding the room next to the tiny statuettes. Inside, you’ll find a treasure chest.
Investigate the Fort

When you’re ready, go down the ladder again and use the zipline to continue inside the Fort. Explore the rooms until you’re confronted by another group of Antaam. Here, you can use exploding barrels to your advantage.

You’ll run into a couple of areas locked behind spikes, but you can’t open them just now. Continue exploring the Fort until you reach a room with stacked barrels – here, there’s a note on the floor you should inspect.
Return to the Dragon

Back outside, you’ll face another group of Antaam. You can’t reach the treasure chests here just yet, so just take care of the enemies in the area and slide down to find your dragon.
Here, you’ll have one final facedown against the Antaam. They’re sturdy and hard to knock down, so make sure all allies focus on one enemy before moving on to the next. I’d also recommend you bring Davrin if you’re a Rogue or Mage, so he can tank by aggroing enemies.
After the battle, speak with Taash to free the dragon. You’ll then have a chat with Isabella and Taash’s mother before heading back to the Lighthouse.
How to complete Where the Dead Must Go

To start Where the Dead Must Go, open the map and fast travel to The Necropolis Halls. Here, you’ll meet Emmrich, who asks for your help to investigate a disturbance in the Shrouded Halls.
Investigate the disturbance in the Shrouded Halls

Here, head down the stairs following the quest marker and you’ll run into an enemy in the Lost Watcher Wing. During the battle, your surroundings will suddenly go black, but just hold your ground for a while and everything will return to normal.
Then, follow Emmrich across the bridge and into an open area. Here, you must defeat the undead before you can continue. It’s just hordes of weak enemies, so any AoE attacks will help.

Look for a Wisp in the southwest corner of the room, next to a green potion jar, and bring it to the structure on the left side of the door.
In the next room, you’ll face a couple of armored enemies. Then, just follow the quest marker until you reach a room with Echoes of the despair spirits.
How to open the locked green door

To go through this room, you must find four Wisps in the hallway and place them in the structures in front of the door. Ideally, without touching the clouds of spirits.

With all three Wisps in place, open the door, and brace for a brief encounter with undead ahead. After the battle interact with the gold handle on the door to proceed.
Reach Emmrich’s consultant

As you reach this open area, look for a ledge to climb on your left side. Follow the path until you spot a trail of wooden logs on your right.
Past the archway above, you can spot a rock Harding can interact with. Jump on it, walk on the wooden log ahead, and you’ll find a chest and a ladder you can deploy.
Enter the room ahead and light all four braziers for Emmrich. Then, interact with the Mourn Watch Corpse in the center of the room. After speaking, the corpse leaves behind a Wisp you should place on the structure near the green gate north of the room.
Reach the upper belfry

Here, you’ll find a group of Venatori you must take care of. Follow the quest marker until you find a Venatori prisoner to speak with.
After finding out why he’s here, Emmrich will open the gate to his right and give you access to the door that leads to the upper belfry.
Destroy the crystals anchoring the chains

In this room, there’s a Venatori siphoning crystal that uses blood magic to slowly heal enemies. Thus, it should be your top priority to destroy these crystals.
As soon as you enter the room, you’ll spot one big crystal on the hallway. Then, proceed by destroying the barrier on the south wall.

Past it, you’ll run into three enemies and a crystal. Destroy the crystal first, then deal with the Venatori enemies.
Keep circling the outskirts of Hollow Belfry and destroying the crystals to bring down the Venatori’s healing device. When you’re ready, speak with Emmrich in the center to activate the bell. Now, it’s your job to drive out the Venatori while he works his magic. You’ll get a 2:30 minute timer, so make sure you grab potions from the outskirts of the room.

With that out of the way, all that’s left is to search the Venatori equipment and head back to the Lighthouse with Emmrich and Manfred.
How to complete Something Wrong
Head to the Hossberg Wetlands and speak with Antoine and Evka. They’ll explain the plan to gather proof that the Blight has changed—by having you collect samples through destroying Blight Boils.
Sample 1 and 2

Head into the open and follow the quest marker to the Blighted Tunnel. Once there, destroy the Blight Cyst blocking your path, collect the first sample, and take out any Darkspawn along the way.
Next, go through the west tunnel, where a falling Blight Bomb will destroy another cyst. Head east from there to destroy the wall blocking your path, allowing you to move forward and collect the second sample.
Sample 3

Once outside, you’ll encounter more Darkspawn. Fight them off, and as you destroy the nest, you’ll obtain the third sample. Here, you can also destroy the Blight Cyst and prepare to face the Champion: the Disciple-in-Ichor. (You can come back for him later, if you don’t feel confident enough right now).
How to beat the Discipline-in-Ichor
The Disciple-in-Ichor is a powerful level 30 champion. It’s weak to Fire but resistant to Necrotic damage, and it has two health bars: an orange shield and regular health.
Bring companions like Devrin and Taash who can deal Fire damage, and equip fire-based weapons or abilities.
First, destroy the Blight Boils around the arena. This removes the boss’s shield and prevents Darkspawn from appearing mid-battle.
Look for red circles marking attack areas and dodge his jumps, dashes, and projectiles. And use fire-based abilities, focusing your team’s Fire attacks on the boss.
After defeating him, move on from this area through the blight archway.
Sample 4 and 5

Clear out all enemies in the Flooded Farmlands. Then, destroy the Blight Cyst blocking the ballista in the center of the area and use the ballista to break the Blight Cyst to the south. This will open a new path and give you the fourth sample, but it will also cause an Ogre to spawn. After defeating the Ogre, you’ll obtain the fifth sample.
All Companion Quests
Lucanis: Coffee with the Crows
Harding: An Unfamiliar Sense
Bellara: Echoes of the Past
Neve: A Study of Dock Town
Lucanis: Bidding Farewell

Lucanis’ first companion quest is fairly straightforward. You must meet him in Treviso’s Grande Markets to buy some spices and then sit down to have a coffee with him. And Illario.

Meet with Harding in the Arlathan Forest to begin this quest.

Here, climb Harding’s rock to reach the higher platform.
Above, ask her to lower the rock so you two can pass through and follow the path.

When you reach a dead end, take a right and hug the left wall to find another route.
As you stand on the docks, look down to spot a rock Harding can manipulate to help you reach the other side. Then, lower the rock blocking the passage ahead.

Once you’re on the other side, ask Harding to push the rock on the left upward and the rock on the wall outwards. Then, use them to reach higher ground.

Above, you’ll find a third rock that must be lifted to reach the stairs above you. Grab the chest up here and knock the log to the right.
Jump down and grab the device floating below. Then, place it on the structure behind you to deploy a bridge.
Climb your way forward to reach the agonized veil jumper and help him out. After Harding hears a voice, the quest ends.

Meet with Bellara in the Arlathan Forest and head together into the Artifact Vault. Here, you’ll help her check some artifacts.
Find and replace power crystals on the first floor

One of the power crystals is floating in the corner of one of the rooms on the lower floor, right next to a portal. Grab it and bring it to Bellara.
The second power crystal is on the north section of the marked circle, also next to a portal. Bring it back to Bellara’s location.
Find and replace power crystals on the second floor

Once you get to the second floor, look for power crystals in the following places:
- One of them is in Bellara’s opposite direction, hiding behind some crates.
- There’s another power crystal south of the marked circle, up the path of rubble.
- The third power crystal is up the ladder. Climb it, grab it, and drop down to give it to Bellara.
Find and replace power crystals on the third floor

On the third floor, look for the power crystals here:
- Bash the log near Bellara to cross to the other side, and climb the ladder to the right. Up here, you’ll find the first crystal.

- Don’t place this crystal on the correct structure yet. Instead, drop down with the crystal and place it on the crystal northwest of the room to deploy a bridge. Grab the crystal on the other end, put it in place, and then place the crystal deploying the bridge on the right place as well.

This quest is also fairly straightforward. Meet with lucas at the Cantori Diamond to hold a funeral for his grandmother, the former First Talon.
Since this quest is just a conversation, don’t choose the “Lucanis wouldn’t come alone.” option unless you want to earn his disapproval.

Meet Neve just outside where you spawn from the Dock Town Eluvian. Your mission is to gather news, and hopefully track down the next installment in Bellara’s favorite serial as well.
Follow Neve to Wharf Crossing North

Neve leads the way until you come to the first region, Wharf Crossing North. Here, you need to find three paper sellers and ask them for a sample of their wares. The first one is just by where Neve stops to let you take charge – find the other two using the map markers.
Meet Neve’s Contact

Neve wants to stop by and visit an old contact for news. Follow her to meet him and learn some more about her life in Dock Town – and her alliances.
Find 2 Papers in Wharf Crossing South

You will once again need to follow the markers to get two more papers for Neve.
Enjoy a Bite to Eat

Follow Neve again, and you’ll enjoy a final cutscene after grabbing a bite to eat. This completes the Study of Dock Town companion quest, and will earn you some XP and better rarity for Neve’s equipment.
All Treviso Side Quests
A Slow Poison

Start: Read a note on a tiny table inside the Lighthouse’s meeting room. It’s a letter from Teia, asking you to come to Treviso.
Find Dareth
The Drowned District is just past the market area in Treviso. You can get there by following the quest marker on foot.

Once you unlock the fast travel Beacon, climb back up the stairs and look for wooden archway covered in vines.
Follow the docks to reach a warehouse with enemies. They aren’t hard to defeat, but there are only so many resources and limited space in this warehouse, so don’t waste all your potions.
After defeating the enemies, speak to Dareth’s cousin, Jacobus, inside the cage. You can’t quite reach the ladder on the higher platform yet, but we’ll come back for it at a later time.
Find Dareth’s contract

To find Dareth’s contract, head to the Heart and Central area in Treviso and look for a climbable vine and ladder. The chest on this rooftop can be accessed by dropping down from the roof onto a slightly lower terrace.
When you’re ready, read Dareth’s contract on the desk inside the upper floor.
Walk over the roofs and use the ziplines to head closer to the garrison. After unlocking the fast travel Beacon to the Crow’s Road Rooftops, head right and go through the large door.
Find the Qamekmaster

Once you’re in this open area, clear all the enemies. Do not break the Blight Cyst just yet, unless you feel like adding a Champion to your list of enemies.
After clearing the enemies, head through the broken window door and follow the hallway to the left. Down the stairs, you’ll unlock the Antaam Garrison fast travel Beacon.
Jump down when you’re ready to face the Qamekmaster
Beating him is just a matter of dodging his attacks in this limited space until you and your allies’ cooldowns are over. Then, it’s time to unleash all your skills or spells on him.
After he’s defeated, you must destroy the poison pots, those green jars in this room, and search the Qamekmaster’s room to find a letter, which is right on his desk.
All that’s left to do to complete this quest is to report to Teia and Viago.

In Memoriam

Start: Speak with a spirit standing over a stabbed corpse in Razikale Walk, Dock Town.
Victim 1: Solve bridge murder

Follow the road toward the statues northeast, and take a sharp left. Grab the following items:
- Page torn from a journal: Found on the stairs leading to the house, as soon as you take a left.
- Hortensia’s Garden Journal: Found on a desk on the north wall of the house.
Victim 2: Solve the market murder

Another one of the Victims is in Urthemiel Venue, in a corner with a potion jar to the marked circle’s west. Investigate the corpse, defeat the enemies, and then it’s time to solve the market murder.
To find the single missing clue, look down the road west and climb the ladder on the right. Up the stairs, grab a scroll on top of some half-opened crates.
Victim 3:Solve the temple murder

You can find the last victim on one of the docks of Andraste’s Watch. The clue you must find is on top of a table near a golden door on the floor, to the marked circle’s east.
After finding and solving all victim’s murders, In Memoriam concludes.

Loyal Friends

Start: In Arlathan Forest, find an abandoned boat near the docks as you follow the path you took for Harding’s An Unfamiliar Sense quest. Board the boat and speak with the disgruntled spirit.
Find the 5 Mementos
The Dalish mementos are scattered in the nearby area of Arlathan forest. You can find them in any order, though I found it easiest to start with the closest to the boat and work my way out.

Each memento is in the general area marked on the map, but you won’t be able to follow the marker to find the exact item. Once you defeat the enemies in an area, search for evidence of what happened to the Dalish.
The five mementos you’re looking for are: a body pinned under a rock in the Ruins Reach area, a burned ship in the Ancient Aqueduct area, a cave with remains in the Riverside ruins, people fossilized mid-stride in an alcove in the Shadowy Grove area, and a broken Eluvian on a hill in the Shadowy Grove area.

Return to the Anxious Spirit
Once you have visited all five mementos, it’s time to return to the anxious spirit. Talk with them again, and you’ll learn they still need more closure.
Your companions suggest performing a final ritual to honor the lost spirits and let the anxious soul know they are at peace.
Perform the Rite on the Floating Rock
Near the boat, there is a small floating island. This is where you need to go to perform the ritual.

To get there, head toward land and to the right until you spot some stone that Harding’s ability can manipulate. Use the command to move the stone, then pass through and take an immediate right. There is an elven artifact you’ll need to interact with, using Bellara’s abilities to activate it. If she isn’t in your party, you should be able to channel her abilities with Silas’ knife.
Once it’s active, you will see two glowing portals. Have Harding return the stone to its original position so you can climb up and through the portal. This will take you to the floating island, where you can interact with the shrine to perform the final rites and free the anxious spirit.

Start: Follow the Tattered Bridge until you reach the Jagged Ruins, unlocking the area’s fast travel beacon. Here, investigate the broken artifact ahead.

To fix the artifact, you must find three power crystals. Follow these steps:
- Follow the path to the left until it diverges into a staircase and a path to the right. Carry on to the right and fix the broken device at the end.

- Head back up the stairs and look for a structure to fix here. It’s not the one you need, but you’ll need it to reach the one that counts.
- Then, use the zipline at the top. Here, you’ll find another broken device to fix.

- Align the ray device to this broken device’s right so it’s shooting the structure ahead and deploys a bridge. If you jump to this side of the Jagged Ruins, you unlock the Mystical Tower fast travel beacon.
- Then, align the ray device to the broken device you fixed on the right.
- Use the zipline again and go across the bridge you just deployed to reach the last broken device you must fix.
- When ready, head back down and ask Bellara to tinker with the main artifact to repair it and complete this quest.
Follow Taymore and Gus
To reach Taymore and Gus’ location, follow these steps.

Starting from the Veil Jumper Camp, turn around and climb the ladder north. Follow the path into the river and, as you reach Ruins Reach, look for an archway west and head through it. Head up the stairs and look for a ladder to descend to the south of these ruins.

Here, head down the ladder and look for a barrel you can break to the north. Then, go through the door and take care of the Blight.
Destroy the blight boils

- As you go through the doorway, you’ll find a blight boil below you to the left.
- Drop down and look for a door covered in blight east.
- In the center of the marked area, climb Harding’s rocks and the wooden ledges to reach another blight boil.
- Then, look to the right and destroy the blight boil next to the archway.
- Follow the trail and you’ll spot one blight archway you can destroy. Here, use the ladder to descend.

When you reach the ground, a Blighted Taynore will spawn. You’ll have to defeat him to continue. Then, follow the quest marker to grab the Nug and bring it back to the camp.

You can start For Gold and Glory by reading a note on The Lighthouse that explains some supplies have been lost.
Recover the supplies

Then, fast travel to Rivain and locate the Crow agents in the Winding Shoreline. Here, you’ll have to defeat a group of Antaam before you can proceed.
In one of the bodies, you’ll find a letter from Isabela addressed to Viago.
Make your way past the Antaam until you reach a note near a waterfall with Antaam Orders. Here, head to the Warden Fort.
How to beat Penshanek the Blood Eater

In the For Gold and Glory quest, you’ll face Penshanek the Blood Eater, a powerful melee boss within the old Gray Warden fortress.
Penshanek is backed by several support enemies: two heavily-armored Anadar, a brute named Valotaar, and a ranged Taaralok.
Start by taking out the Taaralok and any flamethrowers, as they can be a major distraction while you focus on Penshanek. Use area-of-effect (AoE) attacks to quickly chip away at multiple enemies and prioritize armor-damaging abilities to bring down the Anadar more easily.
Penshanek and his allies are especially weak to necrotic damage, so equip any necrotic skills or gear you have, but avoid electrical attacks, as the Antaam enemies are resistant to them. When you’re ready to face Penshanek directly, use heavy attacks to stagger him and watch for when he glows red.

Gather all the wisps in the Belfry
Here are all the wisp locations in the Hollow Belfry:
Wisp 1

Head to the room to the south and break the crates blocking the way. Then, interact with the lever. Next, head through the door to the right and pull the lever on this side.
Head out of this room and go through the door on the right. Here, break the red crystal among the crates. Then, look to the left and above you to spot the next crystal. The remaining crystal for the barrier is on the room to the left. Grab the first Wisp and take it to the gate.
Wisp 2

Head to the room south with a skeleton with candles. The goal is to light up the silver plates to light up the candles, when all candles are lit up, the Wisp will reveal itself. Destroy all the crates in the room to see clearly and light up all 5 plates and unveil the Wisp.
Wisp 3

Head to the room east. Past the door, you’ll find two fountains to light up. Then, use Rook’s or Emmrich’s power to free the trapped Wisp from the coffin between the fountains.
Wisp 4

In the remaining room with the pink flame, trigger the lever. Then, head out of the room and look for a pink flame floating; Lucanis can use it to spawn a hand from the fade. Climb it and grab the last Wisp.
After placing all the Wisps on the gate, enter the Chamber of the unforged and defeat the Orbiting Envy Demon.
How to beat Burgeoining Malice

The Burgeoning Malice is a high-tier enemy with significant attack power, especially in ranged combat. This undead creature requires a specialized approach, taking advantage of its specific weaknesses and avoiding its resistances.
- Weak: Necrotic damage
- Resistant: Cold damage
Tip: Equip any necrotic abilities you have and avoid cold-based skills, as the Burgeoning Malice will resist them.
The Burgeoning Malice is particularly dangerous with ranged spells. Keep your distance and stay on the move to avoid taking massive damage. Watch out for spell indicators – orbs of magic above the boss’s head – that signal incoming attacks.
If you have companions with necrotic-based abilities, like Emmrich, make these your priority. These attacks can chip away at the boss’s health much more effectively.
To complete Unwelcome Guests, you must drive out two groups of Venatori.
Find and defeat the Venatori 1

After speaking with your questgivers, head into The Path of Sigils and break the red barrier to the south. Here, defeat the group of Venatori in this open area.

South of this room, you’ll spot some barrels stacked up on eachother. Break them to unveil one of the red crystals you must break. Then, across it, you’ll spot another hidden red crystal, hiding behind stacked boxes this time.
Once that’s out of the way, go for the crystal above and open the barrier to find some goodies and a Memento.
Find and defeat the Venatori 2

The second group of Venatori is an area called Cascades, toward the South of the Necropolis Halls. As you fight with this second group of tresspasers, beware of the waters – Rook can’t swim.

Note 1 and 2

Follow the quest marker to the quest area. Here, destroy the Blight Cyst blocking the ladder south of the Old Crossroads and climb up. Once on the roof, destroy the Blight Cyst on the wall ahead. From here, climb the ledges in front of you to find a chest.
Next, look down at the garden below on the north side of the cliff and destroy the last Blight Cyst. Drop down to pick up the note underneath—Rupert Voss’ Field Checks.
Then, retrieve Ursa Voss’s Journal, located to the left of the well.
Note 3

Head north to enter the Flooded Farmlands and follow the quest marker north. Along the way, you can pick up a chest inside a house to the west. Then, look northeast to destroy the Blight Cyst under the wooden house. Stand by the Blight Cyst up the stairs and look east to destroy another Cyst inside the house.
Next, follow the road west to reach Lavendel Barricade. Go up the stairs and destroy the Blight Cyst there, which will cause two more to spawn below. Clear all surrounding Blight Cysts, leaving only the one blocking the wooden house entrance. Shoot it, then go inside and interact with “A Family Note” on the desk.
Note 4

Next, destroy the Blight Cyst behind you to open the path to the other cabin. Cross the log, then climb the ladder on the other side. Inside, you’ll find Emilia Voss’ Diary on the floor.
Once you’ve gathered all the samples, return to seal the well.

Start: Speak with Bastian in Lavendel.
Destroy the crystals

From the Old Crossroads, the area where you defeated the Disciple-in-Ichor Champion, climb up the stairs to enter the Cavernous Tunnels.

On the other side of the barrier, break the crystal above you. Then, look for the next crystal up the ledge, near a wooden structure, and destroy it along with the one next to it. After that, destroy the crystal below you and follow the trail east until you reach and destroy the barrier.
Past this barrier, look for a crystal on top of the bridge, then, break the one crystal next to the green potion jar.
The next crystal is located below the edge, south of this platform. Destroy it, then follow the trail to the left to break the barrier. This will lead you to Gaspin Manor.

Start by destroying the crystal to the left of the fountain. Then, look north and above to find the next crystal.
Climb the stairs to find the third crystal, then look near the stairs for another crystal. Next, head to the right to spot a crystal next to the fountain. This will allow you to destroy the large red crystal to the west.

The next crystal is under the roof to the left. While under this roof, destroy the wooden plank blocking a doorway.
Look above you on the roof to find the next crystal. Climb the staircase, move east, and break three more crystals.
Next, go down the stairs and look through the doorway to the southwest. Follow the trail of crystals down the stairs until the large red crystal loses its barrier. Then, open the doorway and ask Neve to unbind the Wards to prepare for a tough battle ahead.
How to beat the Consuming Obsession

The Consuming Obsession is weak to Necrotic damage and resistant to Lightning. It’s also accompanied by two Greater Shades.
Start by taking down the two Greater Shades, which are weak to Cold damage – Neve’s abilities work well here.
Also, rely on Necrotic attacks for the boss, and avoid using Lightning-based attacks, as the boss resists them.
Space is limited, so watch for the boss’s telegraphed electric blade slashes and claw attacks. Avoid ground hazards, marked by red circles. Parry blockable attacks to stagger the boss and land heavy hits.
Whenever you can, draw the boss out of the small room to create distance and dodge its wide melee attacks more easily.
After defeating the demon, report back to the questgiver, Bastian.
